Hi,
I have recent purchased a new computer and am trying to install ME2 on it. When downloading the DLC, I have repeated problems with the downloaders always becoming corrupt, forcing me to redownload. I have done this at least several times and am at wits end. It may be something wrong with my specs, so Im listing them here:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II Black x6
RAM: 8 gigs DDR 3 Ripjaw
GPU: Fermi 480
Any help anyone could give me in obtaining legit, working copies of the DLC, I would be grateful for. Ive payed for all of this and would really like to be able to play it.
Thanks.

I had a similar issue happening right now with the Kasumi DLC. The error message I get is:
"NSIS Error
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.
You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED)."
Using Windows 7 and ME2 patch 1.02.

^my error mimics his. I tried the /NCRC command and the installer started to go, but then stopped halfway through jumping to the failed install screen.

The only thing I can think of is that BioWare's copy of the Kasumi DLC they have up for distribution is borked somehow. If anyone knows a link to where I could get a working copy, I would be obliged.

I downloaded Kasumi just fine but got the Nsis error with the Shadow Broker. No help from this forum that was useful either.

I was able to get Kasumi to work after like the 3rd download but shadow broker or zaeed still will not work.

is there anything special you have to do to make it work on windows 7? Im wondering if that may be the problem. Ive downloaded Kasumi upwards of 10 times and all of them have failed

I have windows 7 64-bit. I was able to get shadow broker to install, one of the older forum topics told that some of the download links were still links to the old corrupt downloads. Once I was able
to get the right download link for shadow broker it worked.
http://static.cdn.ea...hadowBroker.exe
try that it worked for me. Still can't get Zaeed working that's the last one I need to have everything done

I see, that is a bit of an issue. Im currently downloading Kasumi again, if it fails this time, would I just put ME2_Kasumi.exe in place of the shadowbroker file to get the ddl link?

I tried that with Zaeed and it didn't work : / So I think it's just for shadow broker

I have Windows 7 and can play the game just fine but I tried installing Shadow Broker and the thing either crashes Explorer at 99% complete or when I do get it downloaded to my desktop any attempt to select it or start it or even delete it sends my desktop into a sizable freeze. I have to blame Bioware b/c I have had no problems with the other DLC ever.

Sounds like BioWares DLCs got corrupted again X_X kinda like when they released the shadow broker it wasn't compiled right so we all had to wait half a day till they re-uploaded the fixed one, but if it helps have you tried installing as the admin ? its usually the 1st thing I do when I'm installing new DLCs etc etc just a thought.

yeah, I learned in Vista real quick to just run everything as admin, kind of a pain, but hey, it eliminates a ton of issues xD
Edit: Kasumi does work now, maybe the 12th time is the charm or something xD
Gonna try the others, hopefully I dont have more of the same problems.

i am having the same nsis error with overlord and shadowbroker. it sounds like repeated downloading might eventually yield a clean copy?
how the f does bioware not have a published response to this problem if so many people have it?

yeah, Im having the issues with shadowbroker and Overlord now as well. Ah well, its frustrating but I never feel like Im missing as much on content that doesnt have squadmates. Im much more patient with these two

I was able to get all the DLC to work after just like redownloading over and over. Try saving them in different files/locations that got Zaeed working for me

I got all of it to work, or so I thought.
The Kasumi DLC got installed, but its borked, I crash every time I go to start the loyalty mission. Go to redownload, and we are back to not being able to download a working installer.
Its ridiculous to have to go through this much torment just to get content I paid for already. Im probably never going to get BioWare DLC again, just because Ive had far too many issues with it =/

Kasumi and all other recent DLCs are like this for me.
They should fix the evaluator to where you only have to have it confirmed once and not turn this into an ubisoft debacle.
