The quest exclusive to the male Dwarf Noble origin, if you had a dalliance with Mardy, doesn't recognize that you got your son adopted into a noble house. All of the dialogue indicates that the quest has been completed successfully, but it shows up in the completed quests section of the journal as failed. It hasn't worked for me siding with Bhelen or Harrowmont. What's also unusual is that it shows up in the journals of other characters, like a mage or a Dalish elf, as a failed quest. I'm pretty sure this isn't by any means a new bug, and hopefully there is some solution that I'm unaware of. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's always been like that. It doesn't effect the ending, however. My "son" still had a good life despite the fact that the Codex listed the quest as failed.

I doubt it will ever be fixed. Doesn't hurt to have hope though....
