Ok,

I just bought the game a couple of days ago. It's the 5 game pack but I really just wanted KOTOR paid 40 buck's for it so I'm pretty frustrated cause I can't play the game at all. When you get to the profile screen the profiles will glitch intermittently (spazz out for a second or two). Once game play starts within 5 to 10 minutes the game crashes. I get the "weve encounted a problem and need to close" box. At one point everything was almost all black and kept glitching me back into the opening task dialogue (i think it's walk around or something) so I was in this endless loop! The only way to kill the game was to use task manager.

I use XP and from what I have been reading there seems to be a problem with newer graphics card drivers? I have an Nvidia 9800gtx+. All my drivers, including direct x are up to date ( I have been troubleshooting it a little bit), so I know it's not that.

Here's the funny thing, when the first screen appears and there is the option to scan your computer, everything passed. BUT, after the game is launched and I run the scan it say's that my graphics card is at warning level. It then shows what graphics card they reccommend and it's like several levels below the one I already have!! It looks like it may even been several years old too!!

Any help guys???

Have you tried adding "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" under Graphics Options in your "swkotor.ini"?
