Nay. It might have corrected the stealing success problem (so I read somewhere). I see no other immediate value. Maybe a dev (hah) will tell us where to find a list of items patched?
It is listed somewhere on these here forums. As for the 1.04 causing the problems it DID cause to those with the newer 360s, that was dealt with.

Wicked! You should know this. Did 1.04 adequately address its target bugs?

I've got a few different characters in various states of the game that never got loaded here since I played offline for so long. When I get home much later tonight, I'll try to run a few tests on things like Stealing, Dex, etc. and see if I can find a pattern. Maybe that'll tell us if this patch ever came through.
Edit: Linking for my own benefit later. You know, I was thinking. One simple test to see if this patch works would be to intentionally clothe a character in armor that doesn't transfer into Awakening (Warden Commander Set right? Or is it Blood Dragon Armor? Oh well, I'll figure that out later.) and then see if they start the game naked. If they don't, that's a fairly clear indication that 1.04 is there. Whether it's doing the other stuff remains to be tested...

Edit: Forgot to mention that I got the love letter from Leliana too.
Another link for my reference.

I reloaded and ran a separate test on longbows. In regards to longbows the increase went from 27.2 to 27.5, an increase of 0.3. I suppose that could have also been an increase of 0.25, rounded up, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what the increase is SUPPOSED to be?

Edit: Can also confirm that the mage's blood talents from Warden's Keep (at least Dark Sustenance anyway) work just fine in Awakening. Looking good so far. I'll see if there's any other mechanics I can test. Won't be able to test the quest triggers in Awakening as I don't plan to play that for a while.
Second Edit: Ok well, I tested all the game mechanics I immediately have access to and they all work as described, which looks good. I don't think there's anything else I can report for now. I think patch 1.04 is working, so far, as described. By the way, see the links I posted for myself if you want the fix lists. Hope that helps ya'll!

Thanks a bunch, Wicked. I'm surprised Bioware wasn't a little louder about declaring victory with the patch, considering how bumpy the ride had been with the Xbox port.
I think the reason that they were quiet is because depite the patch there are still lots of bugs, so it was a small victory with many people still pissed off about the bugs that didn't get fixed. It really is too bad the sentinel set and vigilence sword are still bugged...I really don't want to uninstall wardens keep just for the right textures to show up. Had to change my character to get the armor to show up but can't seem to do anything about the sword, that really bugs me....and sadly I really doubt we'll see anything else for this game. Took almost 10 months for a real patch and DA2 is right around the corner, so I doubt the other bugs will be fixed.

I hope im wrong, and when the complete edition comes out they will add a free DLC patch that fixes all of the major concerns, problems and exploits that all of the games, including the DLC's have. That would be awesome... *sigh*, i can only hope.

-I wouldn’t count on it. I expect that when this Complete Edition comes out that it will probably be either one of two things.Master Bandit wrote...
I can confirm (at least for me) that Oghrens side quest is triggering, and that i got a love letter from Leliana, which i've never gotten before. (Tho i cant get the others to trigger, but i guess thats my fault from loading a previous save, before the 1.04). So the patch is out, and it has been for months now, it's just sad that they dont plan other fixes for the games, since Awakening is probably the most bugged of them all.

1. A nearly patched game. However you will have to buy this edition to get the “fixed” version since its not compatible with the regular versions of Origins and Awakenings. "Yea right, I'm going to spend more money on BioWare..."
2. Nothing will be fixed. Everyone is hard at work on messing up Dragon Age 2, bug and all to be bothered with an outdated game no one plays anymore at least according to BioWare/EA. "Lets hope no one will notice that nothing was fixed to milk more money out of this game before we totally destroy BioWare's reputaion. *add EA exec laugh*"
Face it we are screwed. Personally I hope Dragon Age 2 bombs when it comes out due to costumers who wont risk buying another bugged game with little tech support.

The "Ultimate Edition" coming out soon ships as is, with patch 1.04. Confirmed by devs in the announcement thread.

The way I feel about how BioWare (EA) decided to just drop any further downloads for DAO and still not one for Awakenings, along with how buggy these games and downloads were its very unlikely I will even look at Dragon Age 2 even as a rental. As for Mass Effect 3 its still in the air depending on how it looks. If its just like ME2 was then I might get it when its marked down to $20. I also was going to get into The Old Republic but not any more, wont even consider it anymore.13Dannyboy13 wrote...
I doubt they even give this game a second thought now. Just look at the final dlc, way too short and left you with more questions than answers, it had the whole rushed feel like awakening did. My guess is that all efforts are on DA2 and ME3, both of which I will definitely rent before deciding to buy, especially DA2, the more I read about the changes, the more I doubt I'll ever want to buy it.
There wasn’t a single download after Soldiers Peak and Return to Ostagar that was worth playing a second time and none of them showed any improvement from one to the next.
The fact that someone from BioWare even said (after Leliana’s Song or Golems) that they have plans for more DA downloadable content and then just end all support (development and tech support) for a game that is only a year old and probably still played by a lot of people says a lot about the new BioWare.
Its unlikely we will ever see a BioWare employee make a coment to anything outside of the DA2 forums now.

Also the warden I imported had a full set of Cailan's Armor and when I came through I had a grey version of it called Warden armor or something with amazing stats, instead of coming into the game nude like I usually do. So whatever fixes they did I'm pretty damn happy with.
