Furthermore she clues in to the idea that a Maker deity may in fact exist!
"Weep not for me, child. Stone they made me and stone I am, eternal and
unfeeling. And thus shall I endure 'til the Maker returns to light their
fires again."
Any thoughts and theories out there about what she means by the change?

I've wondered about this too- I can't recall the exact dialogue but when the Veil is torn she mentions something of the darkness or something like that which sounded quite ominous.
In fact, the only other time I remeber something similar mentioned about a dark force, is that dialogue with the AW spirit in the Phylactory in Tevinter Ruins of the Werewovles!

And I doubt the Varterral just happend to appear, though Morrigan might have been responsible. In any case it was insane, they where created to protect the elves. And it attacked Ariane who was Dalish.

Maybe the Veil tears where caused when Flemeth returned to live? The body was gone in Witch Hunt, and I doubt that the Veil tears where in the Circle Tower only.

I like that. But I think its something worse. I think that it is the real reason that drove Elves of the AW spirit time to extinction. Some kind of Dark God/s Perhaps?

Maybe the Tevinters didn't just corrupt themselves and the Golden City, but the Maker too. So he isolated himself from the world for their own good.
Of course, the spirit talks about the Maker returning, but the mortals and spirits of the realm don't have any reason to know with certainty where the Maker went or why. (if he exists, of course) According to Justice, spirits don't have any more insight into the Maker than mortals do.

Yes, but Eleni's visions seem pretty accurate. So is/was she really human?filaminstrel wrote...

This Woman knows what the future holds. One can assume that she does not lie. She fortells the Change that Morrigan warns the Warden of, in a manner not unlike Cassandra. She also cryptically signifies that the Veil tears in the Circle basement are caused by something much more dangerous than simple chance.
Furthermore she clues in to the idea that a Maker deity may in fact exist!

She's bat-guano insane. I took everything she said with a grain of salt. Not to mention her prophecies are so cryptic they can be interpreted to mean a thousand different things.

I am not sure about the Maker, but the Arcane Warrior elf in the Phylactery's story was downright creepy. People mercilessly killed by a darkness. Completely unknown and very creepy.
That said, where the Old God Baby ends up at the end of Witch's Hunt [if he does in fact exist] reminds me of another old fantasy - Dark Sun. More specifically, Rajaat the Warbringer, encased in an empty place within the Afterlife until he is freed and goes dragon-killing and kingdom-destroying with his ninja-like real ultimate power.

I'll give you this: there's something to Eleni's prophecies. They're not completely random. What she's talking about, though? Well...you'll have to wait and see.

Righty-O
She CAN predict the future, and she sees something that will rock Dragon age to the core.
As Joker said:
"Don't worry, I'll show you."

Well, they could just be vague predictions that a writer tossed in there which could potentially be ascribed to anything in the future. Which makes us look prescient, like we had it planned all along.
Or it could be about something specific. And you will see Eleni again.
Scary, huh?

As for her foreboding warning, who knows what it means.
I have a feeling it wont be much tied to the fade of the maker or anything, Witch Hunt seemed to suggest, or make me think that theres a realm of existance and reality outwidth the Thedas planar constilations (if indeed the Fade can be likened to say..the Etheral or Shadow plane in D&D comology).

Pulling the ol' Nostradamus, eh? Just making it up as you go along?
Tell me at least that Morrigan's whole "change" speech was actually alluding to something specific we'll hopefully be seeing in a future DA game and not just vague prophecy speak #503 that can be attached on to anything in the future?

I prefer to 'stick in my pocket' for later, so when the change happens I cna be all "Ahh, that's what that meant." And didn't spend any of my (no-so-valuable) time trying to ruin a major plot event.
