Hi all,
I posted this question as a reply in one of the previous topics but I can't find it back (is there a way where you can retrace all posts you made via your profile? if there is I have yet to find it).
I was wondering, since i'm currently at my second playthrough and I'm planning to be a total bastard and have total disregard for human life.
However, since I failed to do this in my first playthrough, I'm planning on getting a positive relationship with Sten.
I know he disapproved of me helping the villagers at redcliffe fight off the attack, however I've read that there's a Sten Sword quest later on, which eventually involves getting it from a certain NPC over at redlcliffe.
If you don't help out the villagers, they end up dead, or so I was lead to believe.
I assume this also rules out the option of completing Sten's Sword quest? Or am I wrong?
Please advise =)
thanks in advance

Top of the list of topics in the forum. There is a gray Bar.
There is a "Jump to:" with a drop down box next to it. Select "Your Posts" in the drop down box.
The Sword I think would be inside the NPCs house if the NPC died. I never went that route so I cannot confirm it for you.

He died in my playthrough (because I killed him, not because I didn't save the village) and there was a chest in his house at the appropriate point in Sten's quest that had the sword. So, I confirm what the above poster stipulated.
