Oh, he'll survive, don't you worry. As long as he knows how to love, you know he'll be alive.

So stop chatting with us and put your foot downBe clear the virtual pitchforks and torches shall be raised!! I would be the lone nutjob thats actually outside your offices in Edmenton but there was this whole sorrid business with a moose last time I was in Canada and I am still not allowed to cross that border.
Well, there's nothing that putting *my* foot down will do. That decision has nothing to do with me.
And even if it did, there's probably nothing that can happen on a Saturday night right before I head out for some needed dancing. I'm going to go shimmy a little extra tonight at the thought that someone actually claims they know how the guys at Westwood felt-- or how we feel-- because they like games. I think that's worth a shimmy or two.
Don't you dare to talk bad about brazillian parodies!Dhiro wrote...

Good Nutella. Everytime I read about I Will Survive I remember about the horrible, horrible brazillian parody.

You've just given me the perfect method for coping with said trolls... thank you. Before now I was at an utter loss...

Man i'd love for DA2 to have some kinda evil doll summoning ability. Or fade spirit possession ability.

You guys do realize the Bioware is doing exactly what Westwood did (which put them under).
They are making a costly Science Fiction MMO, and a FPS spinoff of Baldur's Gate.
Wait nevermind, they are doing a costly Sci_fi MMO and there was a hack and slash spinoff of Baldur's Gate back in the day but Bioware was uninvolved. NEVERMIND
If anything about the only thing you can say that is happening to Bioware is what happened to Treyarch, or Naughty Dog

I dunno if I'm right in my thinking at all, but maybe EA acquiring Bioware was a good thing? I mean let me say why first, well with EA behind them they have much more funding and power. And look at it like this, Dragon Age before EA was in development hell for like 4 years. Once EA comes along Dragon Age is finished up after so long. Plus while some may not like DLC because they think it's something that should of been in before the game was released. And while I agree on some like the characters, but other things I partly don't feel they'd ever be in the final game. Back before EA Mass Effect got like 2 DLC over the course of two years. Now with EA look how many DLC's are coming out for their games.

I feel very very let down at the direction DA2 is going, I saw the link where they suggested many of the changes in streamlining the game were budget driven, but didn't the first game do well?
Does (ANYONE) truly feel this new lean mean, feature stripped machine is going to be (Better)???

Onyx Jaguar, the last few Westwood
Studios games before EA shut it down I bothered with were: Red Alert 2
(RTS), Emperor: Battle for Dune (RTS), RA2: Yuri's Revenge (RTS), and
Nox (Diablo-style RPG). Emperor: Battle for Dune was kinda meh to me,
but part of that was because I've read the original Dune chronicles on
which the games are based. The other games I liked, and Nox in
particular I still play from time to time.

Ya know, as much as I
personally would hate to see Bioware go the way of Origin Systems,
Bullfrog, Westwood or Pandemic, I almost hope it does happen just so
years from now I can laugh and point at people like you and say I told
you so. I certainly hope TOR gets the sales and support it needs to
thrive unlike most of EA's past MMO attempts. I mean where is MPBT 3025
today, or Earth and Beyond, Motor City online, or the Sims online just
to name a few? Last I checked Warhammer Online wasn't exactly breaking
records for sales or subscriber numbers either.

Ha. I found it! How "hardcore/oldschool PC" am I?
In this video, at 6'59, the UnPlayedaThing guy reads out what I think is a response to the Ultima VII generators - evil, and shaped like the EA logo. Not to mention super evil Elizabeth and Abraham, where the writers were taking what LB described as a "friendly" dig at EA.
