PC. Just be careful though. If you have, ATI 3D card or integrated graphic card, you'll have a hard time running the game. There's also issues with Vista.

I really enjoyed my Xbox version, but really only because my computer's a little iffy on the gaming side of life and couldn't run KotOR without glitching constantly. Even so, most often I prefer having a controller in my hands than a mouse.

They're both great games in many respects. The PC takes it for me though because of modding capability and the improved controls. The graphics are basically identical, though some more advanced cards might improve the shading and lighting some, I'm not sure. The controls handle much smoother, and there's fewer bugs because of patching. The modding community is still live and well, and there's some amazingly well done content mods out there to improve the game.

I forgot to mention: the PC version has an exclusive merchant with unique items. This was made available for Xbox Live, but that's before it got shutdown.

Also you can play in HD that's important! I play in 1920x1200 using a hack though

Finally got around to loading this up again after I got my new pc...I know I know but I was busy with so many other new games..

Ati radeon hd 4650 1 gig card
8 gig ram
Phenom x4 9750

Its suprising how well the game runs now...I expected trouble.Silky smooth so far.Made it to the first planet. My last pc had trouble on the intor level...unplayable soon as you hit the corridors with the sith on the spire..

Now...its all good.Playing a scout and enjoying it.

As to what platform? I prefer PC..But most of my buddies play on console..So..*shrugs* whichever your the most comfortable with.

Yup I use PC for the extra endings myself. (Particularly the modded DS redemption ending with Female Darth Reven and Carth <3)

The PC is better (mods, runs smoother, etc.), but it has some issues because it is an older game. The resolution was an issue for my brother.

Forget that PC may better with graphics but xbox is more easier to play games with a controller play Mass Effect/DC online/The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion on a xbox 360 or PS3 you can get uses to the xbox or ps3 controller faster then a mouse and keyboard anyday.:innocent:

I like the XBox. Why? Because I would not feel natural playing with a keyboard as opposed to all the controls in my hand. That's just me, though.

I understand you cause i like consoles too instead of PC but if I'm playing a RTS I like to play those games on a PC only.

I am more of a console gamer, so I prefer and am more used to the Xbox version, but, the game has practically no modding capability on the Xbox. It all depends on whether or not you intend to mod the game, your PC's capabilities, and whether you're more of a console gamer or a PC gamer.

I'm a huge fan of ME, ME2 and DAO. I just got KOTOR for the PC and would like to mod it to run 1920x1080. Does anyone know of any resources and if this is possible?

I have the game on both Xbox and the PC. It looks awesome on the PC, but I prefer playing the game with a controller (simpler, more comfortable, can play it on a couch or in bed).

Well, I used to have the Xbox Version, and it was great, but after awhile (especially if I pressed Y out-of-combat) all you could hear were ambient sounds and music, so I'd have to restart my console. I got rid of it cause it was so buggy (and the looooaaadiinng tiiimmmmeeesss weerrree sooo sllooooowwww!) but about a month after I started missing it again so I looked online and bought the PC version, installed it, and now:

I'm in love! 3-5second loading time, almost no bugs, easier controls, aaaaand hey, presto! Mods! *Hallelujah Chorus*

My last playthrough was of a Ithorian (aka Camel-Back, Flathead, or *in Ithorian* Doom-Dum-Dum-Deel-Pha Doweem Dan Deel Pha) who killed the Taris Janitor & Racist, became a Jedi before getting to Dantooine AND had an adventure with the Brotherhood of Shadows Expansion Pack!

Sooo IMO PC version 1 - Xbox Version 0
