This is my 4th pass through the game, so I'm "playing" and taking time to examine all the fine little details.  Some of the graphics are very, very nice.  For example, I noticed that William had a fishing pole and creel and all sorts of supplies at his perfectly-sited camp.  Not being afraid of wolves, I'd have been severely tempted to leave the adventure and settle there with him!:P  It is a beautiful location.

I'm also noticing things that I hadn't seen before... like the nest?????

At Jerro's ugly stinky junk-strewn "Haven", if you stand near the gate and look back towards the first brazier to the right, you'll see a cliff.  On top of the cliff is a twiggy mess... looking like what a large predatory bird might assemble.  The too-steep-to-climb cliff is actually climbable.  Walk along the top and realize that the nest is large enough to hold my entire party, including horses if we had horses.  And it is solidly-built. Get up to it, stand on tippy-toe, and look inside.

TWO brilliantly white nicely-modeled eggs!  WOW!!!

Each is big enough to contain Grobnar.  (After his using Khelgar as a measure of height, using him for a measure of volume seems eminently fair.)

Nobody would have hidden eggs inside a unseen nest perched atop an apparently unclimbable cliff, unless they were hiding SOMETHING.  So... what could possibly be inside?

The eggs are unclickable. :crying::pinched::(

Zilch.  Nada.  Zip.

Nothing.

Happy Un-Easter.

If somebody knows (a dev?) what's up with the eggs, I'd like to know what happened.

You see more of those nests in MOTB - along with the critters that built them.

I have never had any desire to play MotB.  Yuck.

Spirit eating?  Double yuck.  :sick::sick:

Waking in a cavern with a sucking chest wound?  Pah!

Some reward for saving the universe, or at least my corner of it.  <_< The gods can find another do-gooding hero.

The worst part is that goofball Daerred and his team... not only stealing MY booty from the Crystal Dragon and running like the blustering cowards they are, but setting their butts in MY Keep.  Jar-Jar Binks in a hat is still as irritating.

So, knowing that there are more nests elsewhere isn't as important as knowing what was intended with THIS nest and THESE eggs.  If I was designing this game, I would have hidden something in the nest (a srap of paper among the twigs could hold a spell or bard song)... not major booty, but something to reward the explorer.

You don't have to give in to the spirit-eater curse, you know.

You can use good aligned abilities like Suppress and Eternal Rest (brings peace to Undead) instead.

You're missing out on a lot!

I would have made a ROC (juiced up on RAGE) come and attack the party for disturbing the Eggs...
