I know that Accuracy is an overpowered talent but I was obviously talking about a dual wielding rogue who doesn't use a bow unless it is absolutely necessary.
I just finished Origins with this character who had a Dex/Cun 2:1 ratio and I really enjoyed the survivability of a high dexterity which helped me to complete the whole game with no injuries at all.
However, as I'm about to import this character to Awakening and I can now reach 100% dodge I think I should respec and reverse the 2:1 ratio in favour of cunning as there are several abilities like tainted blade, song of courage, and exploit weakness that can greatly benefit from this.
I just want to know if I'm buliding my Rogue right

This is one of the builds on my todo-list. I started Awakening with a rogue archer, but it I honestly find archery too boring, even though it's completely overpowered.
I tried a spirit warrior archer too. Most overpowered thing I've seen since Storm Dragon. I just couldn't play that character anymore, it bothered me so much.

I started a new Rogue a couple of days ago, pure Dexterity. Than I began thinking and instead I want to do every other level, three points into dex, next time I level up, three points into cunning, and keep switching off. Is that a good idea for a build, or should I stick to pumping all my points into Dex?
STR is 18 or 17, not sure yet. Cunning reached 33 when I stopped pumping points into it. Dexterity is 59, including buffs from Andruils blessing, Harvest Festival Ring, etc.

I try and gain 20 STR ASAP, to wear the Battledress DLC or other like light armor early in the game. And there are a few items in the game with other STR prereqs you may wish to check (eg; weapons, other gloves, boots, etc).
For a non-Cunning build, I usually stop at 30 Cunning for Deft Hands.

In my mind, you can't really go wrong with a rogue if you're pumping either dex or cunning or any kind of mix. Both add damage. Cunning adds a little more damage (when backstabbing mainly), but dex also adds some defense. Lean towards the one you prefer. An even split is perfectly fine.
One exception to this is an archer in Awakening. Pure dex in that case.
