I'm wondering if it would be possible to extract the desire demon's head/hair&horns and use it for a PC/NPC? More specifically, I'm looking for a way to have a desire demon PC/NPC who can actually wear armor and such, and have it show up and all. Because of that, I don't care about the rest of the body (though saving the tail would be nice if it's easy). But it seems to me that monster bodies in DA are one-piece affairs, so hacking off the head would be a bit more work intensive than, say, stealing Morrigan's head and hair.
Does anyone know of a way to do this short of making a completely new hair model (from scratch) that looks like the desire demon?

I haven't tested this, but I suspect you could add a new appearance to the APR_base 2DA, based on Human, with HEAD_WORKSHEET set to 62.
Then you should be able to select the Succubus head for that appearance for a female creature in the toolset.
The Succubus body is slightly shorter than the human female, so the resulting creature will have a very short neck, but it might look OK - try it and see.

That combo isn't going to work. The Desire Demon head is in the wrong position and too small for the Human body:
Even the Elf body neck opening is too large, even assuming you repositioned the Demon head. Plus there are all the issues associated with the rig. The Desire Demon uses its own rig, not any of those used by the player races. In short, it's not going to work, whatever way you cut it.
