I just want boobiez in my video gamez.....

I do too. I want the stigma associated sex to disappear so I can enjoy a tasteful game with a good story, engaging characters and incredible universe. Maybe then I can start calling videogames art.

What I do not want is to continue pushing the same tired stereotypes and immersion breaking bs, that appeals to the wet dreams of 13 year old boys.

You know that the creators/writers/drawers of books/movies/games/equpment are way above 13yo, right?

Shhhh! Don't ruin their ranting fun with logic now.

bust size debates can be avoided by adding breast size choice at character creation, I suggest to look at the char creator of Saint's Row 2, that had an amazing char creator in every perspective down to the ability to choose stance/style

I think it is more proving that western media tries to avoid everything mature or sexy while the eastern one embraces it, I wish Bioware would create also eastern style RPG-s, those would be awesome

Mari, listen to yourself. Do you not see he is trolling and you're feeding it, becoming angry in the process and easier to troll as well?

I'm, in my ever so poor way, trying to mentor him. He's expressed a desire to join the military. Not sure if he still wants to do it but his attitude towards women is going to feed into a system that really doesn't need it. I don't know what's in like in Canada but in the US, it's an issue.

It should also be mentioned that trolling, while something of a subjective call most of the time, is not tolerated on these forums. So please, folks - don't go into a thread if you're not intending to positively contribute to the discussion.

Most issues of this thread could get solved by simply taking personal dialogues to a PM level, the topic/thread is not dead yet, but if those continue it will

I see the dead end.

The problem is with the Title of the post.

Get this back on topic! It was actually a good topic. From what Lukas said it seems there WILL be some "sexy" armor/clothing in the game. There's no reason for anyone to be on here complaining honestly. Everyone may end up getting what they want.

No it doesn't. It really doesn't it.

What it tries to do is limit the exposure the population at large has to it, often to the detriment of the individual (not learning about sex, repression later in life, stigma attached to normal consensual acts ect)

The media is more then willing to capitilize off what's sexy.

in DA1 the only armor you could say was sexy was that of Morrigan, I hope to see more variation in these, preferably with more decoltage and shown bellybutton

Wow, I seem to be getting called a troll a lot lately. Oh well.

I apologize for disrupting your thread. I'm sure you'll get all the busty and scantily clad women you want out of video games. They certainly don't seem to be going away.

Think of the title as "Dexterously clad warriors" and imagine it being populated by DnD trolls instead.

Where did you live since PC came out? Sex and sexy stuff in gaming, especially in western one is rare, and the outburst at such things can still be sudden and huge, just remember that damn Fox News ME issue, while it seemed as if Fox lost that "battle" in the end it resulted in ME2 not having anything even close to such scenes

Sensible discussion going again?

It seems we're too willing to criticise these things as 'exploitative' without taking the time to see if they really are, and that's probably got a lot to do with the general perception of the games industry. We won't bat an eyelid at  enjoying the human form in other media yet we'll point fingers accusingly at games that have it in, for some reason.

Anyway, I find the human body an endless form of enjoyment and I want to see more of it in mature rated games. Posted Image

twist my words all you want, I expressed my opinion nearly a half a dozen times already about wanting every kind of clothes and armor and also the chance for players to decide to wear or not to wear them,
yes I do prefer sexy and good looking equipment and characters above realistic ones in my games plus about 75% of all time my main characters are female simply because it is nicer to look at them, but in my opinion that is normal as I want to enjoy myself in a game without thinking about reality "out there" for a while, so I don't care about realistic armor/weapons and such but it doesn't mean I want those who care be blocked from their wishes, the two could very well coexist

The potential for disaster allowing that is almost limitless. Must admit I would probably have some fun with the designs... but Origins didn´t even allow to chage the height and width as NWN2 for instance. Hope DA2 does, most humans with the same body exactly save for skin tone is absurd nowadays.

EDIT: Is SR2 any good?
