Why do you need armor to show a woman's heavenly form? If your gonna put armor on something, doesnt matter what, why put on a scrap of metal rather then full body protection, otherwise the armor is just useless.

I will only support chainmail thongs on the women in Thedas if the men wear the exact same get-up. I have always wanted a medieval fantasy version of the Village People.
And you do get it. (Or you can, if you shut your eyes really hard and utilize just a teensy bit of what is obviously a tectonic-sized brain.)

And as a guy, do you really want to destroy the woman's heavenly form with sores, chaffs, and bleeding?

Red Sonja is a bad example here since she is no ordinary human. Red Sonja received her power from the goddess Scathach, hence she is so good (basically a sword & sorcery superheroine) that she doesn't need any protection in combat. She deliberately wears that outfit to attract men that would force themselves on women, so she could rid the world of them (as she herself was raped by brigands after her family was killed).Big_Chief wrote...
Yeah, it's not that I don't like it because of the material, it's just stupidly impractical and not at all fitting with the Dragon Age setting, at least what's been established so far. Also, I just don't like the style. I've never liked the Conan/Red Sonja style. It just looks stupid to me.GodWood wrote...

Why is this a problem? I don't get it.What I do not want to see is cover-of-Heavy-Metal gratuitous plate bikinis for no reason other than eye candy. THAT, I would have a problem with.
I don't see how anyone could take this seriously.
Whatever the material that outfit is in no way practical.
As I've said, I'm open to the idea of less covering armor for berserkers (there is precedent for it, after all, what with the Picts and everything), but armor that is literally nothing but a chainmail bikini can just vanish forever, as far as I'm concerned.
One might as well pick on Wonder Woman.

FemHawke isn't Champion for any reason.
Just think about this. Put the cloths you imagine these women wear on
yourself and if your full on comfortable in it, great the armor
shouldn't be that big a deal in the game, but plate bra and underwear
will really tear a women up.
I'm not talking about metal underwear anymore, that was just trollling. Any revealing armor at all, that's my opinion.

From a purely scientific standpoint, there's no reason not to add scantily-clad warriors into DA2. The Law would allow them to be just as well protected as tanks in full plate, if not better protected.

And Viking helmets! I can line 5 of them in a row (with Garret Hawk in the middle of course) and choreograph a little jig to the tune of the "Young Men's Chantry Association

Pre-Issue #600 Wonder Woman, yes. Post, no. Well, even before that's a bit of a stretch due to her bracers and the skills she has. Plus it depends on which "Red Sonja" you're talking about. The "true" Red Sonya (It's a Y, not a J) was, as far as I'm aware, more sensible with her attire.virumor wrote...

I don't support "scantily-clad" warriors unless it makes sense. One could say, for example, Princess Amelie from the King's Bounty series is a great example of it done right. She walks around in varying degrees of coverage, but it doesn't matter because she never fights. If you look at, say, Red Alert 3, none of that makes sense beyond the women who give you your orders. Tanya has trousers and what can only be described as a cutdown sports bra, Natasha (Think that's her name) has a cut down jacket and hotpants. It's there for eye candy purposes only.
If you want scantily clad women (Or men) then find a mod to add them in. Sadly, they're so popular that they're always in the top 100 on the Nexus sites (Why? Just... Why?).

IKR. One mod made the CHANTRY robes into itty-bitty pieces. Reverend Mother = Stripper version. EW. No Grandma, I do not want to see this part of you outside of a nightmare!
I actually wouldn't have minded if the Dalish were (more) scantily clad since it would make sense. They live in the forest, not too much material to go around etc etc.

Rofl
And let em make superfancy linedancing to antivian music. During the show Zevran appears and gets thrown around between them! With loose tussled hair. In his unmentionables.
F*ck yeah.
