Those outlandish designs would fit in DA universe? Seriously?
The DA universe just got revamped, son.
not to speak of the universe, we don't even know most of the world yet, nothing assures us that there are no spears or asian-like cultures anywhere
spinning and dancing was the concept for DA2 rogues since a while, it was commented on this by devs atleast two months ago if not more, you should have been mentally prepared for this by now, still that shouldn't make Bioware remove dual wielding from warriors, just the lack of jumpy acrobatic animation does not justify that why professional, armored warriors can't properly dual wield anymore
I by no means agree with every change Bioware made, as example the removal of origins and racial choice, and yes I do prefer quicker and more aethestic battles to slow, clunky ones. I liked how the new look of the qunari is, but am concerned about how elves and dwarves will look like in the end product.
I consider battles to be bothersome and only stalling the actual story, so i am happy with anything that makes battles end quicker
I stand by my opinion however that realism is not as important then "awesomness" and fun in games, and that everyone has different tastes to begin with. "Ízlések és pofonok." as a hungarian saying goes, which means roughly "Tastes and slaps in the face"
