This animation style might have appealed to me when I was a young teenager, but I want more realism in my video games these days. Looks like I'll have to keep my eyes open for more videos, hopefully this difficulty setting was set to "Uber Easy" and that in Nightmare, enemies aren't walking bags of blood

Found this video, don't know if it's been posted yet, so sorry if I'm tardy to the party.
Looks like that's not the exaggerated portion. Still, I'm content with the combat.

I assume you are hoping that the animation style is linked to dIfficulty level. I seriously doubt it to the point of outright refuting it.
That is one thing. I think the major problem is the style of the animation. As Brock and I agreed on earlier, there is little to no momentum between moves. It looks like she did each swing very seperately. Also, the moves are unrealistic not only because the sword is so damn huge yet she swung it around like nobady's business, but also the animation failed to portray the use of the whole body's strength or foot work. And thus the entire series of action in the short clip seems very "un-lively" and cartoonish. It just lacks the seriousness in DAO.JoePinasi1989 wrote...

I think they said that they aimed for Nightmare to be even more difficult than it was in Origins. Which for me is impossible, so that makes me shudder for a bit.ViSeirA wrote...

Nope, I think he meant how there was instant one hit kills all around, animations can never depend on the difficulty level, that would mean tons of extra work should they provide the same levels of difficulty as Origins.

Edit: I don't think the screen to the left is DA2 though. Thought for a moment that it was a rogue, but the UI is different... Nah, definitely not. Just the first screen is DA2.

Her: I think Swinburne destroyed the point of view of christianity in "Paradise Lost"
Me: It is not Swinburne that wrote PL, it was Milton
Her: Swinburne really didn't understood the point of view of God.
Me: Actually Milton was a fervent catholic and tried to let others understand the pow of God, however Lucifer seems more human, just for this.
Her: Simply Swinburne takes the pow of Satan, he was obviously anti catholic
Me: PL always take the pow of God, Milton was utterly favorable to God. The more "human" aspect of Lucifer is inherent in the parable of the fallen god.
Her: Swinburne has exagerated the aspect, he didn't wrote things correctly, he was a satanist.
Me: No, MILTON was not a satanist, and anyway you don't get absolutely nothing of all the story behind PL. It is a replication of the bible, romanced, do you call the bible stanist? You don't really understand nothing do you?
Her: Stop bothering me. If you insist insulting I will report you.
Me: You have insulted me (and others) from the beginning. You never listened anything, you just said what you wanted without either caring. I would suggest you to make a video disabling comments if you just wanted to spread idiocies without others making you notice them.

But yeah, I really doubt they are going to make different animations based on difficult level. People need to accept they moved from Origins style to a more cartoonish and stylized game.
And that's all there is to it? Winning? You guys are disgusting.shepard_lives wrote...
