Looks like that's not the exaggerated portion. Still, I'm content with the combat.
Odd that he changes armor when they pan to the other game.
It's a starting armor and I think that's 'normal'.
I meant that it went that fast. They pan at 18 and come back at 26, with him wearing another armor. And using a different sword.
AHHHHHH.... I hadn't noticed they changed the armor IN THAT PLAY.
Well... in that case... they just... changed the armor...
Like you would regularly.

I like that actual cmbat is faster paced, and not boring to look at, at the same time I hope pausing and camera use will be the same as in DA1, I hate combat the most in RPG-s and always try to rush through it the fastest possible way, what I like in an RPG is the possibilities to costumize your own character and influence the world around you, and the intrigues, oh yes, most of the greatest pnp campaigns I had were those which had near zero battles and intricate webs of story and alligances

Yeah I think Laidlaw elluded to it. Probably the only difference will be the UI and controls of course, I would'nt expect much diversion as far as game mechanics go.

Well, I did a size comparison earlier-- wasn't very good, so I tried again-- still isn't very good, but here it is anyway:
It doesn't actually seem that much bigger.
people just like to complain even about good things, it was already pointed out that the size of the sword is not unrealistic at all, still it stayed the the main issue to complain about for many, while others want even bigger and cooler swords

Her: Simply Swinburne takes the pow of Satan, he was obviously anti catholic
Me: PL always take the pow of God, Milton was utterly favorable to God. The more "human" aspect of Lucifer is inherent in the parable of the fallen god.
Her: Swinburne has exagerated the aspect, he didn't wrote things correctly, he was a satanist.
Me: No, MILTON was not a satanist, and anyway you don't get absolutely nothing of all the story behind PL. It is a replication of the bible, romanced, do you call the bible stanist? You don't really understand nothing do you?
Her: Stop bothering me. If you insist insulting I will report you.
Me: You have insulted me (and others) from the beginning. You never listened anything, you just said what you wanted without either caring. I would suggest you to make a video disabling comments if you just wanted to spread idiocies without others making you notice them.
Well I think this guy has just won his argument.
And that's all there is to it? Winning? You guys are disgusting.
I am? I'm just a guy who makes random comments on other people's Internet arguments. I find that entertaining. I simply liked the fact that he resorted to such an elaborate example to explain his point, and wanted to congratulate myself with him for that.
Now, I could start a discussion with you about what is the point of an argument (is it winning? is it sharing opinions? or something else?), and about which side is right in this case, and about why caring about winning this argument (and I don't care 'bout that at all!) would make me "disgusting"... but I don't feel like doing that. You misunderstood my post, I think. I don't give a good god damn about arguing over the Internet, I never have. But I think it's amusing to watch other people argue and comment on their efforts.
Good day to you!

The funny thing about this is that while "Her" actual posts are nonsense, there is a real issue there. Satan does come off a heck of a lot better to a lot of folks than God did. Wasn't it Blake who said that Milton was on the Devil's side without knowing it?
So this dialogue above is obscuring the actual substance. That's on "Me" as well as "Her," since he doesn't try to find the sense amid the nonsense.

Regardless of the animations, the justification for the weapons being so big in the first game was that they needed to be identifiable from the high tactical camera angle.JoePinasi1989 wrote...
It doesn't matter if it is the same size as Origins'. The point is it should be SMALLER. They've redone the anims, now it looks faster, plays faster, the sword 'feels' lighter, but it doesn't look as such.
If the camera no longer zooms out as far (and by all accounts, it doesn't), then the need for the oversized weapons is now gone.
Even if DA2 played exactly like DAO, they should still have made the weapons smaller because the reason for their large size has gone away.

Some people might like what you describe there you know. Baldur's Gate was a long time ago, tastes have changed. Anime styles animations might have been their goal to start with. It's their desicion, you can like it or not but you should respect that other people might find the new combat and animations infinitely more cool and snappy than the older ones.Monica83 wrote...

Fair enough. That seems unlikely though. Them making the sword smaller.
It is true that one could argue the Origins weapons were already overly large, but I think it's useful, at least, to keep things in perspective and note that it was a telephone pole in both games.

Done purposedly. Isn't she doing this all the time? Actually it was the reason of the sketch. And the "me" part is anticipating the nonsense, it is only that the "her" part don't get it because she doesn't listen (again, it happens all the time).
And yes, it was Blake that said that of Milton. But Milton really wanted to make a book where God was seen as the good guy, however just because he tried making him so perfect, the result obtained was the contrary, and the result seemed more a book from the pow of Satan. Sometimes these thing happens, either unwillingly or unconsciously.
As for Swinburne it was a joke, since he was (contrarily to Milton) anti catholic. A little pun ;-)
