If your suspension of belief is so poor as to be completely caught up by the size of a two handed sword and how they swing it, then I assume you must really ticked off about how you can take armor off a human and equip it on a dwarf or elf and it magically scales to their size! So unrealistic!Kerilus wrote...
And in DAO are the two-handed swords quite as large? (I know the model is the same)
And do they swing said swords with such speed so effortlessly?
This game, nor Origins, is not an accurate historical recreation. This is medieval fantasy. Exaggerations are made all the time, from the size of your sword to the way that getting hit in the arm with a sword may do 10 damage but your arm is still attached to your body. Or how all your companions in Origins are somehow immune to Darkspawn taint even with a Shriek nawing on their face.
I find it simply amazing how people will nitpick certain aspects while others are just completely overlooked. If some people have such a selective suspension of disbelief than I really feel sorry for them having to deal with such a crippling OCD-like condition. Whether my two-hand sword is a more accurate 50-60 inches or exaggerated to more like 80 inches should not be a dealbreaker. And if it is, well, there's really nothing I can say to that.
