EDIT: Ok.. I figured it out. The same command for Holstering your weapon is used for disembarking from Mako. Would have been nice to have that in the Controls section.

Ok. So, after playing ME2, I decided to get ME1 and go through it. I am up to the point where I start going to planets and went to Edolus in the Sparta system. I landed and defeated the Thresher Maw. However, I can't figure out how to trigger the journal entry for the distress signal. I also found the Solarian Mummy, the Crashed Probe, and the lithium deposit. What I don't know how to do is get them since I am in the Mako. Any help would be appreciated.
