Hey, I was recently trying to start a new ME2 game using an ME1 import. I have four Shepards, three of which I've played through ME2 with, and wanted to do the fourth.
However, when I go to import a new ME1 savegame, it is stuck on the first save, which is the very first Shepard I ever made. I can see all four saves, and I can even select the Shep its stuck on (as well as change storage device, go back, etc etc), but I can't move up or down to select another save.
I don't have multiple hard drives or anything, just the flimsy 10GB mine came with, and I've restarted multiple times to no avail. The only thing I can think of that might even conceivably be causing this is that recently, while playing ME1 again, I cleaned out some old saves for my old four Sheps (each one had like five saves attributed to it and I was cleaning up hard drive space here and there). I don't think its even possible to delete the ghost save that gets made after you beat the game (especially because I was deleting from within the game and not from the dashboard or anything).
Any ideas on how I might fix this?

Use the D-pad to scroll through the list of Shepards.

I think if that's the 123234343rd time the questions been asked, we have a slight design flaw.

To be fair, I pathetically hammered everything BUT the d-pad for like twenty minutes
