So after a few playthroughs i have some thoughts and comments about this game. Since none of my friends/family are Mass Effect 2 fans *sad face*, i guess i'll just share it with you guys.

*spoilers below, and huge wall of text warning*

1. The romance in this game is tricky. I set out wanting to romance Garrus on my FemShep, but somehow i just can't get her to say she adores him. In the end i was romancing Thane instead, i was like wth O_O. Oh well, he's kinda badass anyways, but it's kinda sad knowing the romance won't last long.

2. The ending boss just seems too easy to destroy. I mean, the collectors using 10,000+ humans to make that and it gets destroyed by 3 fighters. Im not blaming the gameplay, but the reapers do suck lol.

3. The encounters with people you helped made buying Mass Effect totally worth it. Just gives me a warm feeling to seem them back again. Especially the Asari from Zhu's Hope, i think she was coming on to my Shapard lol. Getting to punch that reporter in the face totally made my day too. Nice to see that agent too, glad she remembers my beer. And the Rachni queen's message, that toally caught me off guard i wasn't expecting it. Somehow i feel they would play a large part in ME3, glad i let her go free in all my playthroughs.

4. The new galaxy map system that indicates what quests are in which star system is genius, saves me alot of time to look up the names in my journal!

5. I like how Bioware made the cities look more life-like, even though they weren't big. Omega looked really like the ghetto, afterlife looked awesome. The Citidel was kinda small im my opinion, but i guess it's understandable.
Having random spots for galactical news is interesting, and listening to random conversations is always fun to do :D

6. Bioware really knows where to hire there voice actors, and im not just talking about the main characters, but sub-parts too. Two parts actually made my eyes tear up. One was the Asari i had to convince to pass some kind of Medical thing to Zhu's Hope, when i saw her crying about losing her mother and daughters, i almost lost it.
The other is doing Tali's quest on her Father's ship. There was this video transmission of a Quarian scientists, telling her little girl to be strong for daddy and that she loves her very much right before the geth swarmed in and killed her. I just stood there and replayed that clip several times, each time feels like a needle through the heart >"<.

7. So my first few playthroughs, i always played male shepard. I tried out most romances and it was pretty satisfying. Especially with Tali since you kinda knew her a long time ago. When i started out playing a female shepard, instead of trying to get my team mates to like her, i find myself gradually drawn to her, like im falling in love with myself lol. Oh well, i guess that is why there's a Female shepard fan thread somewhere. Especially when she said to Thane " Thane, be alive with me tonight "...geez, gives me the chills. Superb voice acting, really excellent.

8. The humor in this game was great. headbutting people, getting drunk, the wtf looks. I think the salarian doctor really is the funniest guy in my opinion. Especially when he starts to give my shepard tips when doing my business with aliens in the sac, cracked me up big time. Also the shop endorsements, those are awesome.

9. The ending. well what can i say. you know the feeling you get when you watch a really really good movie?
i felt exactly the same way, except ten times better since i played through it myself.

10. Captain Anderson. It's a shame we didnt get to see more of him. He was one of my favorites in ME.

11. The scanning for minerals was pretty unique. I actually enjoyed it, props to bioware for making such a boring thing such as collecting minerals fun to do.

12. Zaeed. Total badass. I would love to see more of him in ME3, too bad we don't get actual dialogues with him.

13. the personal quests for our teamates was well done. However, Jacob's quest seems wierd. Doesnt really give me a satisfying feeling when i completed it. I liked Miranda's personal quest. Its touching to see how she felt about Nicket and heart warming to see her go talk to her sister.

14. If i had to say which companion i liked the most, i would say Samara. I know tali is my fav romance option so far but somehow i enjoyed chatting with Samara the most. There's something about her.....should i say attraction? i don't know. Hmm i need some more time to think about it. She's a total badass, no doubt about it.

15. I hope in ME3 they add more dialogue options like in Dragon age. I think people say character development was better in DA is b/c we can talk about more stuff. Personally i think ME2 did a somewhat good job. I felt sad when my companions died, and happy when I speak to them. Just needs more improvement!

16. I was sad that Liara, wrex and ashley/kaiden couldnt join my team. Liara really changed alot, that kinda shocked me. The reason why i liked her in ME was b/c of her naive attitude towards almost everything, now she acts like her mother under the indoctrination sometimes. Seeing wrex again was a total breath of fresh air. I think he was the only former companion that actually felt happy to see you alive again.

17. Somewhat Tough choices. This game has some here and there, and it wouldnt be fun without it. Destroying the collector data and pissing the illusive man off seems like the right thing to do. Somehow i don't trust the dude at all, just look into his eyes man......Im glad they didnt have one that forced me to choose between the lives of two companions, i remember when i had to choose between ash and kai, i just stared at my screen for 5 minutes before i made a dissision, and after that i felt like crap.

18. Is there a way to look up stats of weapons and armor. I had a hard time finding out which weapon is better than which? Not a big deal but just wondering.

19. Last but not least. The soundtrack. Every good game must have a good background music.
The romance music was superb. The sad music when they showed the coffins of those who died in the last mission was tragic. The music that played when they made their escape attempt on the last mission was just EPIC.

Thanks for letting me share this guys, appreciate it.

I had the same experience my first game.  I really enjoyed the Scanning as if it were something fun to do to burn time and yet still accomplish something.  However, I've played 2 games since and HATED it both times.  I truly believe that after a completed playthrough you should be able to turn on an option called, 'Minerals Infinite.'  They need to simply give you infinite minerals so you don't have to scan anymore after the first game is completed.  It became quite a sour experience to play a second and third game, and I will never scan again.  I am only playing one more ME2 game in which the goal is to get nearly everyone killed, which means no scanning required.

Seriously, 'Infinite Minerals' for those who have completed the game Bioware.

1) Garrus' romance is very tricky. It's a good idea to always save before you talk to him, because there is more than one instance where you have to flip-flop between Paragon and Renegade to catch his eye.

2) The human reaper was incomplete - it makes sense that it would be vulnerable.

Agreed on most other points.
