I started out playing Mass Effect 2 before I touched number one.  After playing the first installment, you could obviously see the difference in gameplay and pretty much every new and better.  Now, for number three I'm not asking alot.  One of the things I would like to travel into the third game is your relationship choice.  No matter who you chose, I really do think you should still gain a shot at keeping them.  To make it more interesting, I think they should take it a step furthur.  Maybe like if you beat the third game or even somewhere along the game you can choose to have kids with that person or something more than just an intimate cut off scene.  The relationships in this game is one of the things that keeps me hooked.  Second, actually making your upgrades count.  I would upgrade almost anything I could and most of the time it didn't make a difference.  If I got something to help my health and shields, I expect the next time I get shot once I won't almost die.  Lastly, could the powers be a little more dare I say powerfull.  Slam is pretty much the only one that does anything, but even slam is only great against the weakest of characters.  It would be nice is slam, especially when it is maxed, to crush someone or even make an impact.  That is pretty much all I would want, they did so great in the second game, that the third is making me crazy having to wait one to two years for it.
