Congratulations Bioware, you've done it... turned me around.

After being the staunchest possible opponent against the on-line purchase of games or their DLC, Mass effect 2 has finally turned this aging dinosaur and fanatic digiphobe around into making his first non-shelf purchases.

Today I've opened up a Paypal account and as soon as funds are transferred, I'm buying "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and the Kasumi DLC. I read Gamespot and Eurogamer reviews of the former and I could no longer resist. Your Mass Effect product is simply that good in my opinion.

Just... please don't turn this into the future of gaming. I like my hard-case, my manuals and the illusion that I'm independant from the the internet and the world outside my room when it comes to installing and playing my favourites at any time I want.

I think that you might have to unfotunately get used to it. The way things are going these days. The world will be online.

Yup...games with the DLC included will cost around $100 instead of the usual $50...and you'll have to wait. ...or you can just wait for the "ultimate edition" of the games that will include everything, and cost less but that will likely be around 6 months- 1 year after the release...

...and a tiny side-note OP...the Bioware Store has nothing to do with the DLC...if you'd want your post to matter more, I'd take it to EA...though i doubt they would care what one of its consumers think, frankly...*sigh*
