I'm really not a big fan of the Chantry so preserving the ashes and allowing Brother Genitivi to run around Thedas converting more people through stories about their power is very unappealing to me.that everyone in my party disapproved, even after they'd all agreed letting the location become public knowledge was a bad idea. So now, I just tell him it's all on him if things go bad, which of course they do. <_<

Maybe, maybe. It's possible that I'm just underestimating the importance of the relic, but... ah well. I like the way the story goes, even if it's a pity to lose Wynne.Giggles_Manically wrote...

One wrong line and I make him angry.

Why must Wynne leave, though? Even Leliana doesn't automatically.
She is a strict Lawful-Good/Lawful-Stupid character and defiling an artifact of the Chantry is against her moral code.

Why would a christian leave the group! All I did was sun tan on the shroud of Turin and drink American beer from the Holy Grail!
You destroyed something of great importance to her. However the confrontation is slightly marred in that only one of them brings it up and the other never mentions it. Wynne does trump Leliana though here.

I mean, I have no problem doing that - I hate cults - I'm just wondering . . .

Well, I did harden Leliana, so maybe Wynne is more devout at this point. But your earlier analogy isn't totally accurate; I did it both to avoid violence and to gain the genetic memory of an ancient and extremely powerful being. Who knows what knowledge might be contained in the dragon's blood? Who knows what greater power this could bring, for all the Grey Wardens, not just yourself? You destroyed something of great importance to her. The cultists are violent and uncontrollable, with a perverted practice that hurts innocent people.
I kill them, and their so called God, whatever power they offer may be tempting but they are not people I would deal with. Sadly they try to get in my way, and it leads to their obliteration.

They also kill people who wander in by acciedent.Xilizhra wrote...
The only innocents we know they've hurt are ones who were looking for the Urn. Yes, there's a bloody altar, but historically, I think most members of societies in which human sacrifice was accepted didn't mind being sacrificed all that much (as in that Mayan ball game where the winning team was sacrificed). And Kolgrim seems honorable, albeit fanatical; I'm straight with him and he's been straight with me so far, and I don't think they have any desire to leave Haven.
And one of the codex's you can pick up tells how a person ran from cultists but was killed.

Perhaps I missed that particular codex. But then again, it doesn't matter; my Warden has a greater plan in mind, and she needs the cultists for that.
My Workout out plan.
Besides they wont listen to you anyway, good luck trying to use them.

There's also a dead, bloody knight who had come looking for the urn, you know . . . .

Doubtful you can get away with it.
Even if you do, what do you do with your army now?
Play Canasta on the mountains?
Besides Templar and Berserker trump Reaver as a spec.

A contradiction. What is considered "evil" is a subjective conviction. There is no such thing as an "objective" evil.
Regarding the choie. They didn't give me enough incentives and the reaver spec is not worth it, especially when you are not a warrior.
If helping Kolgrim meant that the Disciples, and Dragon Andraste, would join your army against the Blight, then I might have considered it.
