white flour is bleached,no food value whatsoever. Rye,wheat oat,rice, spelt,Amaranth, quinoa, flaxseed, and buckwheat  are totally good food and tasty

Thats what I meant. Too white, while sweet, is bad. Graham style grinding is the best.

Thats what I meant. Too white, while sweet, is bad. Graham style grinding is the best.

I eat mostly organic grow food and drink organic juices..Is cognac organic..lol

That is one of the reasons why I miss home: I can buy bread daily baked with just a five minute walk back there.

swedish meatballs are my favorite. they're made only one time a year. the special occasion is christmas. my favorite regular food is cheese and/or chicken enchiladas with red sauce.

Oh, I love bread! We both went off sound nutritious principles the other night and had garlic bread. I bought a loaf of crusty Italian from the local super, sliced it open and liberally coated it with butter, garlic, basil and oregano (fresh herbs ftw!) then heated it in the oven. It was so good.



I don't care if eating crusty Italian bread brings on the next ice age, it's hard to beat a good loaf of bread for an occasional treat. Especially with a nice, cheap chianti. And there are lots of nice, cheap chiantis.

absolutely, some loaves require more time in the oven than others do. Slow baking with a big loaf is really delisious!Image IPB
