I've started a series of five stories -- "Five Women Who Might Have Given Alistair a Child." The first is Anora Mac Tir and comes, I think, as close to schmoop as is possible for this pairing.

I really liked this and that's a unique explanation for Anora and Cailan never having a child. I liked that they eventually decided to not name him after anyone (so many fics have Alistiar name his child Duncan and many also have either a Cailan or a Bryce thrown in there but I do like that Alistair suggested Duncan as that's very IC for him). I also liked how even if Ceorlic was trying to kill her he respected her father too much to allow her to be brutalized.

I'm so glad someone besides me enjoyed this -- as I was writing I was quite sure that there was no market for Alistair/Anora schmoop!

You spelled "bated breath" correctly! Almost nobody does that. They type it like they think their breath is going to attract fish.

I really enjoyed this. Its nice to see Alistair and Anora having a chance at happiness together. I liked her sudden respect once she saw him wiping the floor with Ceorlic's men -- and the pony exchange ("...Father?" "Hardly.") was great! I hope you write the other four stories!
