Over the last couple of days I've been experiencing a lot of crashes to desktop. The first few days I played were fine.
At the moment I can only play for around 30 mins a day before i start repeatedly crashing. Once that starts, I cant load any saved games or start a new game without crashing to desktop (- basically it's unplayable for the rest of the night once it starts...) Rebooting doesnt solve the problem.
I dont get anything other than a generic "Dragon Age: Origins has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error message.
Specs-wise I'm using windows xp on a Core 2 duo with 4gb ram and a GeForce 8800 GTX. All drivers and direct x are fully up to date.
Any suggestions?

Have been running some tests with settings and this crash only appears to be a major issue if texture settings are switched to high.
I've dropped it down to medium, with all other settings remaining on max, and it seems to be running ok. For now...
