Guillermo del Toro's El Laberinto del Fauno is probably one of the greatest tearjerkers I've seen in ages.
In no small part due to the soundtrack by Javier Navarette.

Also, the ending of Big Fish. It's so beautiful, reminds me of my father, who is also a story-teller.
The Last Samurai, although its ending was fairly predictable, it's still tragic.
The ending of Pan's Labyrinth, I like to think that she really was a princess of the underworld.
And Up...that movie is just awesome. I cried three times in the cinema.

The Princess and the Frog- when Ray died.
Titanic- Because who doesn't cry at some point during the Titanic?
Those are the only ones I can remember that were more recent, I'm sure there's more.

Dear God, yes. You could be the kind of cast iron b*tch that laughed when Bambi's mom got blown away, kids come along, and you're having to take tissues to every bloody movie you go to

2. It was a long time ago but I think the movie Armageddon was very sad. Imean the ending where bruce willis sacrifices himself.

I cried a tear when, in the movie, Glory, Matthew Broderick is in battle, and he's obviously afaid for his life and the lives of his men. He checks his gun, blows out the dirt, then takes a second and steels himself to lead. Then he charges, screaming, "Charge!" up the earthworks to attempt to take the Condederate Fort.
I can really relate to that.
Braveheart, at the end didn't make me cry, it sent shivers along my spine and arms, when he screams "Freedom!"
But there's joy and pride, too. I can't think of any titles at the moment, but there have been times when I literally had tears of joy or pride in the character's situation and how they handled it. And often times it is commingled with sorrow at their situation. Tom Hanks in "Philadelphia" when he is listening to the opera is one of those moments. He is dying, but in near ecstasy of joy as he relates to Denzel Washington what that particular opera invokes in him.
And as to that, "The Fallen" evokes a bit of sorrow for Denzel Washington's character at the end when he attempts to kill the demon.
Oddly enough, Up was a cute movie, but didn't make me cry at all. I haven't seen Toy Story 3.
And if you don't cry at the end of Old Yeller, something's wrong with you.

Same here.. goosebumps!
I cried in The Wind That Shakes the Barley not only because it was sad but because I was angered at the end. I had very strong emotions with that movie.
And more likely than not it's the 'good things' that get me teary.. not just sadness in movies.

Bah, I've had a mental breakdown and haven't cried. I don't usually watch too many movies, but the last episode of Scrubs moved me a bit. When the Last Sword is Drawn (Real samurai movie...unlike that "The Last Samurai" crap) got to me the first time I saw it. Other than that...I don't remember much, but then again, I don't watch TV, and don't usually watch movies.

That was narm territory for me; him yelling "freedom" was basically a giant flashing neon sign that said "We're all gonna die".
