As always with these designs, I usually don't want to stray "too" far from the original, more so I want to enhance the character and "flesh" them out so they don't look as much like cartoons.

As for my changes to Fergus, I changed his eye color to match Bryce, darkened his hair to black, and rearranged his facial structure mostly raising his cheeks and tweaking a few other things.

Slightly changed textures and eye color. Modeled after Victoria Johnson.

Not at all. It's apples and oranges. Your Morrigan is beautiful and stunning and matches the lore of Dragon Age. It's all different styles and it's what makes each of us unique.

When I get some more angles, and better screenies I will post, let me know what you think, I think he is a bit feminine, but Zev always struck me as such.
@Petehog, I thank you for saying my Morrigan is beautiful and stunning, coming from you that is quite a compliment. I have always looked up to you and many of the others that post on the forums so thanks.

@Petehog, I quite like what I see of your Alistair, and your Morrigan is as elegant and beautiful as ever.
@Saerwen, your Zevran is handsome! That hairstyle suits him quite well, and I love his eyes.
I havn't really done much re-designs lately, but I have started with my Awakening companions.
My Sigrun is very much not lore friendly, but I like her this way. She looks gritty enough when she's coverd in blood anyway.

And Velanna, well.. she looks cranky and annoyed enough for my tastes, and I kept her sort of lore friendly. Sort of.

This is my version of the Sacred Ashes Leliana.

As you can see, I didn't exactly make it like the trailer. I was looking to make a design that captured that gritty and tough appearance of the CGI Leliana. But I also wanted to design her in a way in which it would fit with the dialogue and cinematics in Dragon Age. I think the major change that I implemented was the adjustment of the nose and the removal of the beauty mark.

I have a question that is unrelated, how in the heck do I get rid of the white lines in the hair, esp in the part? I followed some instructions you left for Tyrax a while back, and the tint's in lines you said to change were the same? Just curious.

@Petehog~Wow, Leliana is wow... Did you make the makeup texture? Her eye makeup is fab. Damn I wish you were still sharing your work, I really love my Leliana, but she is just gorgeous, and not in an overdone way.

To remove the white hair issue it is done as follows.
"For anybody who creates their characters with the DAO Toolset and still
experiences the problem with bright lines appearing in certain
hairstyles, here is a workaround:
1. Open the *.mor file of your character with the Toolset.
2. Go to MORPH_TINTFILENAMES and change the content of line 11 to the color you want to use.
E.g. if you're using the tint "pt_har_bl4" for your hair, you have to change said value to "pt_stb_bl4". "
That should fix the white hair problem.
The Leliana design does have a new texture. I was trying to mimic that dark eyemakeup she had but I was looking to not go too overboard on it.
