Bioware, FemShep Fans Need to Bring This to Your Attention

I'm assuming the differences are oversights. The animations are largely the same because the easiest thing is to substitute one model for another instead of going through the scene again and reanimating everything that is a little bit off because of femshep/manshep differences. If you need proof of other differences, look at the way Shep sits -- even in a dress!
A few small things like Liara audibly sobbing did mystify; in an earlier thread I wondered if it was just an xbox/PC difference. If THIS is the difference, then I don't know why it is; maybe another oversight or something.
The conclusion: chill the crap out, guys. It's still an awesome scene, the dialogue is all still there; these are minor flaws that happen when you have to try and put two people in the same place at the same time. It's not malicious, and it's not even really negligent.

I just don't see what you are all seeing, maybe what 15 seconds of a 2-3 hour DLC and this causes you to consider the whole thing a waste of your money? I can see not being happy but calling it a waste of money is hyperbolic at best.
I don't feel the DLC is a waste of money by any means but it is a sore point that contines to be a pattern in the game itself.

During the cuddle scenes, Liara is smiling when she says "I'm open to suggestions" to MaleShep, but not when she says it to FemShep.
And, during the third link, you can hear Liara sobbing in the MaleShep scene, but not in the FemShep scene.

I don't see any flaming in this thread. Bioware's customers would just like to be heard and we don't want this to happen again or for other romances. Say for Kaidan and FemShep in the rumored VS DLC.

I honestly don't see how it can be an oversight. The clipping, yes. The models aren't identical, and clipping issues happen.
But if they just substitute one model for another, there is no way Liara's facial expressions should be different between the two.

That's my fear. If we don't bring this to Biowares attention, what's stopping them from screwing up Kaidans scene from sloppy animations and other things.rynluna wrote...
I've stayed loyal to Liara this whole time. Waiting on the DLC was a very hard several months for me. When I finally got to play, I was happy beyond belief. But upon hearing that a very emotional scene was missing from my game, it has put a bad taste in my mouth. It just doesn't feel right that I paid for this DLC and I get it without an integral, emotional, piece.

I'm not about to burn down BioWare's HQ over this, I just don't understand the point in the difference in the scenes.Naltair wrote...
I guess I just don't see it, maybe I am a cold hearted bastard but I felt both scenes were equally moving and poignant. If there is an oversight it can be addressed but some of the sentiments in this thread are way disproportionate to what I feel is healthy? Not trying to disparage but I don't think this was intentional. The details are so minor, from a design standpoint, that I am willing to bet it was just an oversight.

Maybe not you but some people are voicing some silly opinions. I think it should be addressed but to insinuate some greater conspiracy is laughable.Crimmsonwind wrote...

Obviously Casey Hudson hates women and wants them all to be shunned by intentionally not making Liara cry and then making sure to include the clipping to really rub it in their vaginas.
That is obviously what is happening here.
seriously, if you're not seeing the problem - move along.
if you're a Bioware representative, than make us an official statement
just don't troll here
