I'll try and add something new to this.
Some of the FemShep players feel shortchanged.
The default Commander "John" Shepard is male. His model has more details than default Commander "Jane" Shepard. FemShep isn't advertised in the media, her voice actress wasn't announced until ME1's release.
And then there were animation issues in ME2, with FemShep essentially mimicking ManSheps animations.
Many FemShep fans feel like FemShep has constantly gotten the short end of the stick. Many of them are females who want to be represented in games. Some are more bothered about these issues than others, or some are not bothered at all.
Now, there's this LotSB issue with FemShep's clipping and crying. Given BW's past history with focusing on ManShep, FemShep fans want to know if the smiling and crying discrepancies were true, intentional differences, or oversights. If it's a difference, it would be appreciated with BW would explain why. If it's an oversight, then FemShep have reason to feel shafted again.
If this happened in any Kaidan and Ashley DLC, I too would be wondering. Let's hope it doesn't happen in possible VS DLC.
