Above post: I thought the exact opposite. When Collectors were out there I didn't have time to go check out some random AIs or crime mobs or any other "sidemission". Afterwards I did all that to end the craziness, deaths and crimes. Even though TIM is what he is the most people working for Cerberus don't deserve to suffer
And truly, I saved the you-know-who and ruined Cerberus' plans

Unofficially, does anyone care? Your Shepard can do them before or after.
Getting missions from TIM after I told him to pike off is weird.

Maybe his e-mail is automated and he didn't cancel all the notifications.
You'll get the Overlord e-mail first thing unless you install the DLC after flipping him off anyways.

The Illusive Man is a bussinessman and a strategist. If he deemed that giving Shepard (one of the most dangerous individuals in the galaxy) sensitive data on the Shadow Broker would be beneficial to Cerberus and it's goals, especially with the intention of it falling into the hands of Liara T'Soni (a mutual enemy of SB, and a good friend of the Commander), then he would likely overlook Shepard's decision to split from Cerberus. In effect, he's just "using" Shepard to get to the Shadow Broker.
And besides that, you SHOULD feel awkward about accepting Cerberus intel after the SM. It still makes sense story-wise for them to give it to you, though.

Hello everybody, I know this isn't the right topic, but I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the complete Mass Effect chronology, including all the comics, novels, DLC's, iOS games, up to date with Mass Effect: Foundation, Issue 7. I would really appreciate this, thank you in advance.
Best way to do that is create another thread.
(The Foundation 1-4 events can be read anytime, but before the events of ME1)
If you can't, here it is:
Mass Effect:Evolution
Mass Effect: Revelation
Mass Effect: Foundation 1
Mass Effect Homeworlds 1 (Jame's Flashback... Then go to it again after reaching the Citadel for the first time in ME3)
Mass Effect Homeworlds 2
Mass Effect: Foundation 2
Mass Effect Foundation 3
Mass Effect (Game)
Mass Effect Galaxy
Mass Effect: Incursion
Mass Effect 2 (Prologue)
Mass Effect Foundation 5
Mass Effect Foundation 6
Mass Effect Foundation
Mass Effect: Redemption
Mass Effect: Ascencion
Mass Effect: Paragon Lost
Mass Effect: Foundation 7
Mass Effect 2 (Game, the rest of it) NOTE: DLCs don't have a chronological order, they can be completed by the player anytime
Mass Effect Homeworlds 3 (before Archangel's Loyalty mission)
Mass Effect: Retribution
Mass Effect: Conviction
Mass Effect: Invasion
Mass Effect: Infiltrator
Mass Effect: Homeworlds 4
Mass Effect 3
-The End
(Foundation 8 and the others aren't here 'cause I haven't read Foundation 8 and the others weren't released... Maybe I'll Pm You later with more info)

Kasumi => Overlord => Lair of the ShadowBroker (post Suicide Mission) => Arrival (post SM& LotSB)
I'm wondering when BioWare is going to lower DLC prices. Right now those DLC's are more expensive than Mass Effect's that are on sale on Steam and Origin.

For me I always do Arrival after the suicide mission.
If I decide to do broker dlc I usaually do it after the suicide mission
Kasumi and Zaeed I do after horizon
Overlord, Firewalker Pack and Normandy SR1 crash site I do before Horizon

I think Arrival makes more sense from a story point of view after the Suicide Mission but I do the other DLCs before that. It makes a nice break from the squadmate/loyalty missions which are great but it's still good to have something else to do.

For Mass Effect 2:
Overlord: Anytime during your playthrough
Kasumi: Anytime during your playthrough
LOTSB: Can be done before or after the suicide mission, I like it better after, as it adds a bridge to Mass Effect 3.
Arrival: Do this after the suicide misison, feels out of place anytime else. Better leave it uninstalled until you finish the suicide mission as well

The only one I've done post Suicide Mission is Arrival. Lair of the Shadow Broker makes sense to me to do during the main game. I might give it a shot after this playthrough, though.
The way I look at it, the more stuff you do BEFORE the Suicide Mission, the better your chances of success (more experience/cash/gear.)

Zaeed Loyalty - During or After. Much better for During (while doing other Loyalties).
Kasumi Loyalty - During or After. Much better for During (while doing other Loyalties).
Firewalker - During or After. Better for During (imo before Overlord), but fine enough if not.
Overlord - During or After. Better for During (imo after Firewalker), but fine enough if not (like if you want to safely bring Legion).
Lair of the Shadow Broker - During or After. Works for either. (a little better for story if After, but a little better for gameplay if Before)
Arrival - During or After. Much better for After. (much better for story if After, but a little better for gameplay if Before)
~~~
The order I typically put things in (before changing things up for RP reasons) is at least roughly:
-Lazarus Station (Recruit Jacob)
-Freedom's Progress (Recruit Miranda)
-Recruit Mordin (Recruit Zaeed on the way) on Omega
-Recruit Jack/Grunt
-Visit Citadel (Recruit Kasumi on the way)
-Recruit Garrus on Omega
-Do whatever sidequests I want, check out Citadel and Omega if I want
-Recruit Jack/Grunt
-Horizon
-Recruit Samara on Illium
-Recruit Tali
-Recruit Thane on Illium
-Jacob's Loyalty
-Miranda's Loyalty on Illium
-Collector Ship
-Jack's Loyalty
-Mordin's Loyalty on Tuchanka
-Garrus' Loyalty on Citadel
-Grunt's Loyalty on Tuchanka
-Thane's Loyalty on Citadel
-Samara's Loyalty on Omega
-Zaeed's Loyalty DLC
-Kasumi's Loyalty DLC
-Firewalker DLC
-Overlord DLC
-Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC
-All remaining sidequests, final check of Citadel, Omega, Illium, Tuchanka
-Derelict Reaper (Recruit Legion)
-Tali's Loyalty (bring Legion)
-Legion's Loyalty
-Suicide Mission
-Arrival DLC
Solid^ but with LotSB and Arrival definitely after.
For me I always do Arrival after the suicide mission.
If I decide to do broker dlc I usaually do it after the suicide mission
Kasumi and Zaeed I do after horizon
Overlord, Firewalker Pack and Normandy SR1 crash site I do before Horizon
This pretty much.
I think LotSB and Arrival give off a distinct post-suidcide mission bridging context based on how they present dialogue and such.
Arrival is certainly post SM,
Arrival bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3, it's the reason that Shepard is grounded at the start of ME3(good luck getting that explained at ANY point during Mass Effect 3 though)
