I have not got LOTSB yet and I just want to ask something before I buy it.

Is Feron a threat to my FemShep's/Liara's ralationship? Or are Liara and Feron just friends?

It's kind of been bothering me for a while and I want to put my mind at ease.
A simple Yes/No answer will do or whatever else you want to add. I just wan't somehing to stop the feeling of dread that is bothering me for days!>.<

No, they're just friends. Liara falls head-over-heels for you, again, if you make the right dialogue choices.

In the long run, I doubt it. Liara knows who's "Big Daddy" , however being that she's only 108 I'm sure she has her fun with Feron on the side. As long as she's home in the morning I'm cool with it.

If you don't romance her, I could see them hooking up. But I don't recall a BW game ever making you compete with an NPC...which would actually be pretty awesome. But not going to happen, I believe.  So as long as you romance her I think you're safe.

Shepard head butts krogans and drinks poison and ryncol for fun. If Feren were ever to become an issue, he would snap his neck, distill him into a fine alcohol, and wouldn't even get a good buzz.

why? feron is just a good friend. don't try to twist it. Liara is still thinking Shepard more than Feron. it's easy that Shepard rescued her in ME 1, then she became squad member, has kept relationship so far. Feron was double agent before who tried to find something behind transaction to collectors. in the middle of that, he met Liara. then he informed her very important information. so they acted together in order to get shepard body from shadow broker and collector. with this time, Shepard took more time than Feron with Liara.

If you don't romance her, asking about Feron causes Liara to say that Feron has been through a great ordeal and it would be irresponsible of her to take advantage of his current mental state. While that dismisses an immediate romance, it isn't quite the same as her denying anything will happen in the future.

If you DO romance her though, Feron doesn't stand a snowball's chance on Therum.

I don't see Feron as competition for Shepard, wether you are playing as male or female.

Also, since many people here have romanced Liara in the first game and stayed faithful, a romance between Feron & Liara is highly unlikely.

Actually I consider him more of a safety valve. On every subsequent visit, Liara has nothing to say but a very robotic 'glad you stopped by Shepard.' She doesn't even move from her spot.... ever.



Her having a friend there who is not constantly using the monitoring equipment is probably a good thing.

I was comparing Feron to Shep.  Shepard would have escaped in the first two minutes, and probably blown the place up on the way out.

I hold down a corporate job - that's like torture.  Does that count?

Liara thought it was hilarious. She had hacked TIM's personal computer and was looking at his Viagra prescriptions at the time, so it was doubly funny for some reason.

Competing with Haer'Dalis for Aerie's heart in BGII.  Uhh, or so I heard.  *cough*

Honestly, judging by his performance in Redemption, I wouldn't consider Feron a threat to anything.

Well this is Shepard we are talking about, totaly a Captain Kirk. Feron is just a minor character in the role of the classical "damsel (or malien or something like that...) in distress".
