 If anyone has *any* problems or questions with the devourer, feel free to post here or PM me. I included a small txt file to show what's going on, but I know for a fact I've done a less than stellar job explaining myself.

Also, I'd like to take this chance to say that the devourer is cute in a imma-gonna-eat-your-brain kind of way. It reminds me of a pillow I had as a child, which is in of itself rather frightening.

I just added it to the files on my pw as well, into the misc2 hak which you can auto download by logging into the same if you want, and are an early adopter. After i see if any issues i will put into the monster pack proper. ( Still doing some troubleshooting on other things like trollocs and i hear hellfire might be getting close to releasing a thing or two )

I'd think this would be very useful for creatures other than just the ID actually, ghosts and demons come to mind.

A few questions.

Chaos Wielder.. was your stuff posted on the vault at all, or only by email?
If via email, can you email to me please?

Aside from that, is anyone planning on scripting ego whip or any other abilities

I was hesitant to use this creature when I saw it on nwn2 vault due to it missing scripts to pull off it's special attacks and abalities.

Also.. I am willing to help if any of you think the total package needs any more work for scripting the special abilities.

That same ID entry on the Vault has been updated to include CW's scripts. Look under the files there, they are under their own file listing.

For an ego whip type thing, could you use the illithid mind blast? Its already an official special ability within the game.

To be honest, I've never played with Psionic rules in PnP, so most of the abilities the devourer had seemed strange and/or unusual to me. They could be scripted in--modifying default spells or, like Knightmare says, just using a spell that already exists(try feeblemind for an approximation)--but my overall goal was to make something that most modders didn't want to touch. Namely, the whole body possession system.

I could probably throw something together for some psionic abilities, sure, but that's getting into a scary area"(hey, why doesn't the PC have psionic abilities?") If you want to help, feel free to send me a pm. I'll never turn down a partner in crime. :wizard:
