Ignominious Deaths

I thought it was hilarious that the big D, the goddamn Prince of Demons himself, met such an ignominious end to a rather insignificant group of adventurers. Probably not the way he was hoping on returning to the Abyss.
Another memorable moment was when fighting the black dragon in Suldenesselar. My entire party buffs up, gets their weapons and shields ready, and is mentally psyching themselves up for the battle when Aerie pulls a Leroy Jenkins moment and runs up to the dragon solo. I needn't have worried - one Finger of Death later and the dragon was laying dead at her feet.
Just decided to share those two funny moments I had. Feel free to knock me for my abuse of traps  Anyone else have some particularly funny battle stories?

I forget which dragon it was, but I recall running up to the dragon, it calling me a noob, I activated GWW on 4 warriors, and BAM! it's dead in one round! ONE ROUND! I spent like 10 minutes buffing and everything and it has the indecency to die like that!
I once had Viconia Turn Undead and take control of a Lich, I think Odaemaron (sp?), and I had him imprison himself. I giggled for hours.
One time, while soloing a Ranger/Cleric, I was operating the Machine of Globes on the floor above Demogorgon. I was goofing off not paying attention to what I was doing, just activating many things at once. Next thing I know I'm surround by liches... Turn Undead and POOF! chunks go flying everywhere!
Those were the days... I miss the days when my enemies actually scared me, and nothing scared me quite like a lich.

Onehitting the Shadow Dragon with the Silver Sword Procc
Losing your complete party to a single lightning bolt in BG1 - Forever.
Also, one thing that happens quite often is Odamaron killing himself with his own Symbol:Death.

Unfortunately, he couldn't do any damage. I had him wielding the silver sword; which the wraith was immune too. He was swinging away while under an Improved Haste effect and constantly shouting about the weapon having no effect. Then out of nowhere the wraith dies. It failed a save against the blade's vorpal effect and keeled over dead despite taking *zero* damage.

It probably died in one round because you had spent 10 minutes buffing.foodstuffs wrote...

Killing Demogorgon for the first time with cheese traps.
Predicting where a horde of Gibberlings spawn is funny, especially when you lay some traps beforehand.
And this is were i failed , miserably. SCS is brutal.
And this one is just here because it's hilarious.

... um ... I don't get it. Perhaps if you added a floating red arrow?
OK I'm hoping one of these smileys conveys good natured stupidity, or something ..
EDIT oh wait, the damn smileys aren't even animated. D'oh!

Wait, what happens if you kill Bohdi in the first encounter? Does it break the game?

It doesn't matter. Her dialog was triggered, which advances the quest and sets the required variables in the background. Killing a creature in one place doesn't prevent another creature (the later Bodhi) from spawning in a different area, unless it's explicitely scripted that way.
If you could kill her before delivering her lines, maybe you could stop the game from marking the quest as complete in order to talk to Aran again. It's probably not possible in the traditional way though, usually creatures that need to do something before death (Bodhi, trolls, Imoen in chapter 1,...) are not allowed to drop below 1 HP. Shapeshift to Mind Flayer might work for this since the trigger is most likely HP-based, but that way you could kill her in a different way.

When I saw the one about Wild Magic I expected a cow falling on someone. Still got a good laugh though.
*Ascension Spoilers*
I forgot about this one. I once had Viconia Turn Undead while at the Throne, I took control of Bodhi and she killed Irenicus for me
