AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I have to wonder......I know how he reacts (Hardened & unhardened) if he is your friend/lover. Does he react very differently if you ignore him/if he hates you? Because his love/friendly reaction makes me feel like scum if I DO let him get executed.
I had him on friendly (even though my PC would not consider himself his close friend). Not sure if his reaction would be different if he hated my PC.
Eh truth be told, his reaction did nothing to me.
@ Zjarcal.
I disagree in thse sense that each character provided something. Through Zevran, we learn about the Antivan Crows, which is interesting. Through Sten, we learn about the Qunari, which is interesting. Through Leliana, we learn about bards , Orlais and a bit of the Chantry / religion. Wynne, the circle. Oghren, what it means to be a warrior in Orzammar and Branka.
All those were interesting. Alistair on the otherhand was not fit to talk about Templars, he wasn't one. Was not fit to talk about Wardens because of his naivety and ignorance on a lot of important issues (the implications of the taint).
EDIT: well yes served little purpsoe to the story. I should have clarified more. I meant contributed to the general environement.
In short, I don't feel like I learned much from him. Some bits about the Templars. Some bits about the Wardens (Riordan and Duncan do a better job). But that's mostly it.
