Ok we get it, but you don't actually answer the topic creators question by sending him to another topic. You're borderline spamming man.

Is there any way one could create a head in the toolset and then make it be a preset for use when you create a char?
I'd like to know that as well. I assume it is possible, considering how open DA:O is for modding.
I suspect you'll have to set it up to export as .mop (it's an option when you're creating the morph that can be set to true) and adhere to a certain naming rule to have the creator recognize the preset. I'm not sure about it however.

How am I spamming, if I'm sending him to a step-by-step topic on how to do it? It's easier than retyping it all out. And it's no different then when people just post a link to something in a wiki.

I'm betting he didn't even bother to CHECK what was in the other thread you linked to. Gotta love the ignorant.

No, I mean, it's my thread, and he's posted in it, so he knows what's there...I dunno....
I just don't see it as spamming...

If the thread which he is linking him to answers the question, then yes I think it does.. answer the question.BFBHLC wrote...

It's closer to spam to post the exact same thing from another thread into this one.

Well, the question wasn't really answered by anyone so far. The method in the linked thread is a useful alternative until we somehow figure out how to create new presets for the standard character creation (or until BioWare tells us how to do it

It MIGHT be possible to do it, but it would probably require scripting or some other crazy thing like that, that I have no idea how works.

Creating/adding new presets is quite easy. You just need to add references to them in the chargenmorphcfg.xml file, found in the misc.erf package.
At the risk of sounding like a complete moron how would one do that? I opened the file with notepad and see the references so do I just type the filename?
