I have a question and I apologize if it has been answered already.

For the Xbox 360 DAO UE, do I need to disc swap to access content across discs if both discs are installed to my Xbox 360 hard drive?

Also, is there a specific list of what content is on Disc1 and Disc2?

I personally hate disc swap from ME2 so I am hoping this is not the case.

Can't say for sure how the XB360 HDD works.  There would be no need to swap discs DURING a particular game, since  DA:O  and DA:A  are on one disc, rest of the DLC on the other.

Not sure if the XB360 even needs the discs once you've "installed" the content.  If so, then I guess if you play RtO  and WK  in the middle of DA:O, that would mean a disc change each time you went to/from those DLCs, but not a constant back-and-forth if you just run through each one. (Be sure to unload your inventory before heading to either one.  There's nary a merchant in sight when you get there!)

I have the Xbox 360 Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins.

Disc 2 has all the DLC, Awakening, and patch 1.04 (but not 1.06, you will need to hook up to the internet to get it). Put in that disc and install all the DLC/Awakening content to the Hard Drive.

Then just play the game on Disc 1 (you can install this too to the Hard Drive so the Xbox 360 is quiter, but this is optional). You need Disc 1 in to play the game (regardless if you installed Disc 1 or not, which I already said is optional), but no disc swapping is necessary. Let a friend borrow Disc 2 or whatever, that content is on the Hard Drive after you install it.

Please I need urgent help, I would like to know if Dragon Age Ultimate Edition PAL(xbox) is region free, because my fiancee bought the game for me, at site game.co. How ever, my console is NTSC, and if the game isn`t region free, I will cancel the order.

Thank in advance.

I dont think it is region free because previously I attempted to buy a copy from outside the uk for my PS3 of awakening and it wouldnt recognise the disk.  So I'd make sure if you have a NTSC system you get a NTSC disk.

So what's this talk about having to download stuff for the UE? I got the UK PS3 version, and as near as I can tell, it's all on one disc. The game did download a patch when I initially started it up, but that's it. In the XMB menu, it displays as one disc (one for the vanilla game, one for the DLC), and all you have to do is run an install of the DLC items.

I haven't gotten far enough to play any of the DLC yet, but it does seem like RTO doesn't work as even after installing it, it still shows up as available new DLC and everything else has disappeared. Well, except for that Feastday combo pack thingamajing, because (at least that's what I think the problem is) the disc includes these as two separate items and so the server doesn't recognize that I already have the stuff.

But anyway, apart from the patch, everything seems to be on the disc, so I'm not sure I understand what people's problem is - apart from the RTO issue, which... well... &$#!ing fix this, Bioware.

spacehamster - the 'fix' is that you have to contact EA for them to give you a download code for RTO. Lame I know. But that's the proposed 'fix'.

Finally recieved my (UK, PS3) copy from play.com --so much for pre-ordering and hoping to get it early. >.< At first it looked like RTO was there, but it wouldn't install. Oh, well..let's hope EA don't take too long in responding.

Larf. Well, thanks for the info, but that really is lame.

Oh well. Since I need to finish Origins first anyway, I'll just hope they patch this BS until it becomes an issue for me.

The DLC will be on the disc. I know that Feast Day gifts/pranks are a part of the Ultimate Edition, and will find out whether the Blood Dragon armor and any other items are included.

Just bought it and Included are feast day gifts and pranks and blood armor but game keeps saying new updates feast day gifts/pranks available for download even after I loaded them. I recieved a code for the blood dragon armor with pick of newer looking armor design, I have put in code but no registered code update with newer looking armor. Is this just an activation code for all the dlc's on disk or just the same armor as before once you have the code activated for blood armor you are unable to get a second set or an upgraded version?

does anyone know if the ultimate edition has the patched witch hunt automatically installed, or do I need to manually install that?

I thought so, but then was corrected by Fernando.
Unfortunately, the UE  file packaging and install routine are set for "All or Nothing". Posted Image

???  Must be talking about some special "console version" (PS3?) numbering system... Nothin' for PC users to see here...

A question to anyone who finished the UE (and *spoiler alert* for anyone who hasn't): when you make the Ultimate Sacrifice and then choose to be an Orlesian Warden in Awakenings, do the choices your dead Warden made still not carry over? I remember they were considering what to do about it, but that they probably couldn't do anything. Just curious if they cinched that up in the UE.

I have been hearing a rumor and would like to confirm this with anyone who already has UE. people have been saying that after they installed the 2nd disc on the xbox360, they can only use the content while connected to live, is this true? i really don't want to have to be connected every time, i was getting ready to buy tomorrow but want to confirm this.

i would also like to know for ps3 version, is RTO a problem for U.S. version? and if so will i have to always be connected to the enternet after i download it on the ps3 like mass effect?
