just finished installing on the pc, going to have a quick play now. I bought the disk version from amazon for £17.86 but downloaded from ea with the eadm as my dvd-rw drive is currently broken, it stopped working several months back and not got around to fixing it/getting a new one.

- Can my save game from DA Origins be used with Ultimate?
- Will the Blood Armor that I downloaded be accessible in Ultimate?
- I'm using PS3 so I already have a trophy set installed, will Ultimate install a new trophy set or will it continue to use the current one installed?
- A follow up to this is, if I have a R3 DA Origins and use a R1 DA Ultimate (vice versa), will it also use the same trophy set or will it install a new one (then start from scratch with the trophies) and will I be able to use a save gave from R3 in R1 (vice versa)?
Thanks... appreciate the help...

Does it have to be local? Would it be okay to get it from Amazon.co.uk or the like? Because Amazon has it atKregen1 wrote...
When is this thing coming out in the netherlands I can't find it on any local web site/store or retail outlet.
£28.99 for PS3, £17.69 for PC and £29.99 for the xbox.

I have confirmed there is no problem at all with RTO on the NA version. And no authorization required.

Yeah, Fernando confirmed that for the PS3, everything is on the DVD and you never need to connect at all if you don't care to do so. Glad it's all working "as advertised"!Shadelon wrote...

I bought both DA:O and Awakening when they were in the Steam Sale long ago. I still haven't got through DA:O, so I'm getting my money's worth in that sense (even though I've taken a break from it for a month or two)
What annoys me slightly is that there's now a pack with both game AND all the DLC for a similar price I paid for just the two games.
Apologies if there's a site with it all on i've missed, but how much is all the DLC together when bought separately?

But why should you feel "wronged"?Destindie wrote...

As has been the case since, oh... DAY ONE, for published materials, if you buy it when it first comes out it's going to be more expensive than if you wait a while. That's certainly been true of computer games for as long as I've been playing them (PC DOS v3.0.) Nothing especially new or different here.
Have you looked at the discount rack at Target or Wal-Mart? Last year's hot games for less than the price of a movie.

I bought it even though I have digital deluxe edition + return to ostagar ($64+$5)
cheaper than getting awakening ($20) + the DLC I don't have ($27)
anyone know if there will be a problem with registering both editions under the same account? I'm playing the PC version

Short answer is, there shouldn't be. You're registering MORE legitimate content under the existing logon. The only problems I've seen reported have been the usual "lag time between the registration and seeing 'authorized' in the 'Installed Content' menu." Usually cleared up after logging out, waiting a few minutes, then logging back in.MortePlus wrote...

The recommendation from the BioWare staff has been to uninstall your current version, (keeping your "Saves and Characters", of course) before installing the UE.

Sorry I am so late to the party here but but I just want to clarify this and not read thru 29 pages of this thread. The DLC is included on the disk for All versions of the game but for the PC version you have to "activate it" online anyway so if you already have all the DLC(LIke I do) you have no reason to buy the ultimate edition. I just wanted a version of the DLC I would not have to activate online ever just so I would have a non rented copy of the dlc.
Don't you just download the DLC a'la Mass Effect? And I was under the impression that the DLC would be included in the ultimate edition and not need to be downloaded. Is that not the case?

if you read the reviews on amazon.co.uk(not looked at the .com one to see if america has the same kind of reviews) there are lots of people giving 1 star as they claim the dlcs are included on the disc and you have to download them(so not as advertised) and some complaining about have to be connected to the internet to play.
I bought the pc version from amazon.co.uk, tho I ended up using the cd key in the eadm(ea download manager) to download the digital copy as my dvd writer is broken.

I understand the DLC is on the disk I have issues with the activation requirement. Like I said before I have all the DLC already purchaced but I really want is a copy i can install and be guaranteed to be useful 5 or 10 years from now. For example I still play C&C from time to time what if westwood had required online activation. I would have been out of luck....
Yes, that is rather troubling. It's similar to my worry regarding the free Mass Effect DLC, Bring Down The Sky. What happens years from now should I decide to install that game in a brand new PC cos my old one is 6 feet under?

Activated my DLC fine, but when loading my old save it's pretty clear promotional DLC is still lacking. Sure, I can easily download it all, but it's not that easy for the other pre-order DLC like the Feral Wolf Charm (not on my save, but I would expect it with the UE). Does that not fall under "all the DLC"?

Hassat Hunter if you read back through the pages(or simply filter to get the bioware posts), it's been stated that they can't offer the pre-order and other promo dlcs due to legal reasons(or words to that effect).
