I must say I originally not a fan much of dragon age. But now with this awesome deal out I am very tempted to pick it up for a reasonable price of either 60$ or 50$s.

Should I go PC or XBOX360

360 all the way. No problems or headaches of any sort....just put the disc in and instantly start ploaying with no issues. Install it to the HDD if you like or not however you prefer and just enjoy the flawless and awesome gamplay experience....provided they patched the sentinel armor, vigilance sword and the dwarf noble origin losing all the bonus items in the origin story but that seems like a must for the Ultimate edition.

PC is definitely better assuming you've got the hardware.

360 more convenient but definitely not as smooth or graphically detailed. No camera zoom in/out control and the spell targeting system is a little funky. Works alright.

Go PC if you can I would say.

There is nothing wrong with the 360's spell targeting...played through the whole game about 8 times and it works flawlessly. Aside from that the graphical superiority of the PC is hardly noticeable so if you're sensitive to that sort of stuff by all means but otherwise doesn't matter.

Sounds like I will go with the PC, then my pc can easily handle the game, I need a new fan though. :(

I could care less about spell targeting, but the graphics and the camera zoom it more what I care about.  I wouldn't be able to stand a no zoom on the xbox.

That said does that game support xbox 360 controller for the pc?

Nope.....the only way to enjoy the comfortable 360 controlls is by playing it on the 360. There is no issue with spell targeting that was just pulled out of thin air and the graphical difference isn't nearly as great as some would make it sound.

Another question, will the ultimate edition be compatible with Dragon age's normal ediition save files? I have a savefile midway trough the game (aroung 40 hours which is a lot) and i don't want to start over.

That really sucks man =(

I bought Kasumi stolen memory, Overlord, some armor packs for mass effect 2 and then BAM! they announce the complete/cheaper PS3 version.

I'd advice not to buy bioware´s DLC anymore.

Most likely yes....it is the same gae after all so I mmagine that just like my DAO saves still worked after I downloaded the Stone Prisone and Return to Ostagar they'll still work with the Ultimate Edition which simply throws everything on one disc. But there has been no official word from BioWare.....still that's not something I'd worry about.

Not all ME2 DLC will be on the release disc of the PS3. They said additional hours.....so expect zaeed and the other free content plus one or two of the premium ones....then they also consider the special "you totally missed out on ME1 rofl" special start as "extra content" so you'll still have to access the cerberus network to buy the rest.

After this I think I´ll only get DA2 if the CE is interesting and wait for the ultimate with the DLCs.

BTW, the DLCs I´ve bought, can I burn them to a DVD as with the ME2 ones, or must I always download them and have a check whenever I start a game? UE users won´t have that problem, I guess.

GameStop says October 12 and I seriously doubt they would guess anything so close if they didn't have official confirmation. When they guess they usually guess the 30th of some month or another.....this isn't a guess.

One quick question about this, does it come all on the same disc like TFU Ultimate Sith Edition?

Uhhh.....TFU: USE DIDN'T come all on the same disc....it had two discs....one with the main game and a second with DLC.

I know that but I should of rephrased that as if the DLC will be on the disc on not downloadable.  I don't have access to Xbox Live to download it so please confirm it will be on the disc or different discs but still play it.

Yes, that has already been confirmed....the content will be on a disc....we don't know how many discs it will have.

any chance for people who have DA:O to just buy all the expansions and DLC without DA:O at a reduced price?

I agree with this sentiment. I bought Orgins around release and Awakenings at realease, so I'm a $100 in this already. Is there any chance there will be DLC discounts particulary for those of us that already own the game? I'd pay $20-40 for all the remaining DLC, but $60 for it just doesn't work. I have the blood dragon armour and stone prisoner already. I mainly want Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, and Golems of Amgarrak. A lot of it doesn't sound good, but I'd pay some money for the DLC. Just wondering if there's any plan for those who bought the game early on like a voucher for Dragon Age II or something. Otherwise this just seems like a reason to not buy stuff from EA until the Ultimate Edition comes out.

Thank you Darth Trethon, I'm adding you as a friend.  I haven't been able to find out about that, I read somewhere that there will be codes for DLC with it but I guess that could not be true.  Source of that was Dragon Age wiki.

So going to get this if I can, just recently bought Halo: Reach legendary edition so I'm going to scrounge up all my money between now and October 26 and sell my old copies of Origins and Awakening.

Victor Wachter said this: "The DLC will be on the disc. I know that Feast Day gifts/pranks are a part of the Ultimate Edition, and will find out whether the Blood Dragon armor and any other items are included."

To answer a few questions:

Yes, the Ultimate Edition comes with the Dragon Age Blood Dragon armor and a code for the Mass Effet 2 Blood Dragon Armor.

Ultimate Edition comes with Patch 1.04

Ultimate Edition is on sale here in North America on October 26.

More answers as we get them.
