I bought my ultimate version (PS3) end of last month I installed the remaing dlc and played original data and saves carried ova please note as most people should know you do NOT get the RTO dlc as ur supposed to bioware made a booboo.Luckily i already had it as i just needed awakening and darkspawn chronicles and lrlianas song.Also on psn network awakening has come down to £15.99 from £31.99 unfortunately i didnt reliase until i bought the ultimate as would of saved myself £10

The "booboo" (FeastDay DLC not "presenting" correctly in the PSN "store" even though installed, and no copy of RtO) was ONLY  on the UK PS3  version.  BioWare is making a free download of RtO  available to the affected customers.
The rest of us didn't have that problem.

I'm getting the UE tommorrow for the pc. i'm curious can i go ahead and uninstall i have download now? i'm just planning starting from scratch. and is there anything i need to download after i install the ue.

Installed UE 1 hour ago, activated DLC code; but for some reason DLCS haven't been activated on mine account in-game (on profile it shows being unlocked). Where's the problem? I have restarted game couple of times, logged in and out...

hi guys. ive been playing dao since last year and im a very big fan of the game. I just bought dao ultimate edition and instantly got overwhelmed by the problems i got with it. first, the blood dragon armor mysteriously disappeared, i thought to myself that that was fine as long as i can play the game. however, the dlc's that came with the game isnt loading up, witch hunt, return to ostagar and so forth. the main reason i bought the ultimate edition was to be able to play the dlc's which wasnt the case. everytime i try it says "cannot load area." this is so frustrating and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. i have the pc version, is this happening because i have dial-up internet connection? this is really frustrating. now im thinking about not buying da2 when it comes out just because of this. if anyone has an answer or a solution pls help me.

Can't say for sure it'll work for your problem, but the recommendation from BioWare staff about putting the UE on a system that has an existing DA  install was to UNinstall the previous version (keeping your Saves and Characters, of course!) before installing the UE.
(If it were me, I would backup my entire "/[user's documents]/Bioware/Dragon Age/..." folder before doing this!  )

Then  "Activate" the DLC with your with your EA account by entering the code, and you should be good-to-go. Might take a few minutes and a refresh (exit/re-start) of the game for the EA servers to update to reflect your activation.

There isn't really a "promo code".  You do have to "log-in" to your BioWare account from "within the game".

I'm bored at my dad's house and far away from my PC. As luck would have it, I have my copy of DA:O UEand a flash drive with my most current gamesave (I had just backed it up last night).



Would I have no issues installing the game on my dad's PC, continuing my save, back it up after I'm finished playing, and then continue once more when I get back home (and port over the save from the playthrough at my dad's house)?

Yes, Character Creator works perfectly with the Ultimate Edition.

According to the BioWare staff posts in this thread (use the "BioWare Only" filter to find them quickly) a Steam install should work fine.  May take logging-off, then back-on to your EA account from within the game to "activate" the DLC.

You may need to register a cd key. Right click on DOA from Steam/Library and check "CD Keys", redeem the code on this website. I had to do that before the dlc, which was installed, became "enabled."

Sorry, but according to Fernando Melo (BioWare Dev) there isn't  a French UE.
Here's a section from his post in this thread:

The PC & X360 version has English VO, and English, Spanish & Italian subtitles.
There is also a X360 German VO / Txt version (like Origins did).
PS3 has English, French and German VO, and English, French, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles.

Presuming (since you mention Steam) you are only interested in playing on a PC, see the post three before yours, which was a re-post of some of the information BioWare provided earlier in this thread:

thx Thandal NLyman but i think this info is old. the german store version was released two days ago.

hope they will add the german files on steam.
