When you bought the game, you should have 2 codes inside your case. One is for the game itself, and the other is for all the current DLCs. They should be listed right next to eachother. After you authorize both codes on the bioware site, you have to manually download some of the DLCs from the "My registered content" tab in the "Profile" dropdown under your picture. Hope this helped at least a little.
Second the steps by duke3292. Got the DVDs from online retailers few months ago. At first installation activated using both codes provided inside casing and happily exploring until now. No major issues except for some crashing at times which i believe due to my own system faults. I did notice though that DLCs redeem code has expiry date =(

Or you can try and download patch 1.05 beta. Sez it fixed some authentication issues.

I have problems to get the DLCs, when i bought ultimate edition i got Dragon age origins and awakening, and a code that was supposed to give me all the DLCs, but on the paper with the code it said it expired like a month ago. Is this a common problem?
Hmm not that i know of. Might have to take it with support team. Get another code perhaps.. ^^!

If you start another game before completing Origins , say Witch hunt, How do you get back to your Origins game? I can find no way back.
The Grey Warden's story begins in "Origins"
The events in Awakening take place months later
"Golems" takes place some time after the end of that
and the Warden's final adventure (if still alive) is in "Witch Hunt"
The Warden can be imported to later adventures but CAN NOT be sent back in time to earlier adventures
..you have to go back to an earlier save.
To do so you have to swap characters as the warden in "Witch hunt" is considered a seperate character to the "Origins" verson with regards to the storage of game saves

Having a bundle is good. It saves time, money, and bandwidth.

Already had original dragon age origins with 3 DLC installed.
Inserted disc and ran game on xbox360.
xbox live downloaded an update and it ran of disc instead of hdd confirming it isnt same disc contents as main game.
Saved games intact.
Then installed both these discs and uninstalled the old disc.
When loading game it looks the same as before, only 3 DLC's on, no awakenings and others avilable to purchase, no awakenings.

I'm not clear what your problem is so here are all the details I can offer
Note 1 - you need a suitable harddrive with sufficient memory (some people with certain slim models have reported problems)
Note 2 - You do NOT need an internet connection (I don't have one at home). But it helps with patches such as the witch hunt patch
Note 3 - It is on 2 discs marked ultimate edition disc 1 and 2 (both of these precise discs are needed)
step 1 - insert ultimate edition disc 2
step 2 - agree to mandatory upgrade and wait for it to complete (note - this is part of the installation process and will happen every time you start up disc 2)
step 3 - select required dlc (any you have not already got and have harddrive space for) and proceed with installation
step 4 - when complete remove disc 2 and insert disc 1
step 5 - press start (wait for it to check and confirm the "dlc") and then either continue an existing game or start a new one. If starting a new name use direction controls to select origin, awakening, golems, witchhunt, darkspawn or Leiliana
and that's all there is to it

I inserted the expansion disc and installled it to the hdd using the normal method of installing games to hdd and left it at that.
I then realised I was supposed to run it like a game and it has a seperate installer for the DLC's, my existing DLC's remained installed so I unselected them and let it install the rest, and to tidy up my hdd I removed the expansion installed disc of my hdd as its not needed.
So now the game works as expected with all DLC's installed and saves intact and because my existing DLC's still work I have now a spare shale and blood dragon armor DLC key as well.
