Will the console versions have the annoying awakening item bugs fixed? (blackblade armor, sentinel, vigilance, etc.)

Is this autorization mandatory?

I don't have internet connection in my house right now (i'm posting from my job) do i have to autentificate in order to play them?

And what about the consoles version? Do i need to register them online too?

Stated here (http://social.biowar...25624/7#4938337) by one of the devs, it is indeed necessary to autenticate the copy on the internet at least once. Afterwards though you can play offline.

Also some questions for regarding the UE:

-Will the vigilance and healing bug be patched?
-Am I correct in assuming that the Witch Hunt 1.01 version will be included (that fixed the import issue as well as the autosave issue)?
-Are patches (up till 1.04) automatically applied during install?

Yeah... and why should i be forced to autentificate something that i bought?

It's supposed to be a physical copy, then WHY?? And don't bring me the BS that it's "a countermeasure against piracy" because you know as well as i do, that they are going to crack that **** in a matter of hours.

So if i don't have an internet connection right now (i won't anytime soon... i have some problems with my internet provider) what do i do? pay the same price and don't get the DLC?

Please bioware. PLEASE.

Fix that hideous boxart, or at least provide a pdf so that we can print a cool looking boxart, like the original game's and wakening's : D

Unfortunately, the only thing that can be said about the internet authentication is the BS you're referring to. *sigh* Stupid pirates. If not for them, we wouldn't get all this DRM red tape. However, at least Bioware's DRM on Dragon Age is much more lenient then Assasin's Creed 2 or SecuRom. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to authenticate the DLC without an internet provider. Worst case scenario- bring your computer to work for one day and authenticate it there during your lunch break or something.

YES. I totally agree. Part of the reason I'm getting UE is so I have a physical copy of all this stuff, and I want it to look nice. I don't want a box that shows me pictures OF MORE BOXES.

I guess if it's marketing related, Bioware will answer. If it's bug related, they will not.

How many times can they repeat themselves before they get tired of it? I think they've stated often enough that their hands are tied by restrictions on the consoles when it comes to fixing certain bugs.

Not referring to any bugs that can't be fixed because of simultaneous release requirements.  Bioware hasn't said anything about these issues:

Find Vitals, Silverite Mines equipment bug, unimplemented effects, attack speed bugs...

These can't be fixed or even acknowledged, yet Witch Hunt can receive an update within a week of release?  These issues haven't been addressed by Bioware in any way and they continue to remain silent.

I know for a fact that the Silverite Mines bug HAS been acknowledged; it's one of those thing they cannot fix because of
simultaneous release requirements, to use your own words. Some of the other things you mentioned probably do work, just not in a way that most players want them to, which may be why Bioware has said nothing.

Could you please answer my question here?

Will there be any fixes to the beard in the character creator?

Also, im still not sure how the transfering of saves would work. Or if it would.

i have a question, i tried reading the multitude of pages on the subject but really didnt see a straight answer, but can someone from bioware comfirm or deny whether the 360 version will have to have internet to use the DLC? I have played Origins and Awakening but could never play the DLC because i purchased my box off ebay and when I got it it was banned from live for some reason.. would be sweet to finally be able to play the add ons, but dont want to waste my money if I stil wont be able to because I don't have xbox live. And unfortuntly my pc can't run the game so getting it for the pc isnt an option either

Blood Dragon Armor is there.  But there's some legal baggage for the other items as they are exclusive to those respective promotions which we can't get around, sorry.

Just wondering how most if not all the promo items for ME2s got included in the "weapons packs" then

Will there be anything new in ultimate? I have Awakenings, Stone Prisoner, Lilianna's Song, Witch Hunt, Return to Ostagar and Warden's Keep...

I would love new looks for the characters and new armor/weapons and would buy if it came with something new...

This is excellent... I will be picking it up both for PC and PS3... I like the idea that it just loads onto what's already there... thanks for that as I would hate to have to reinstall the whole thing from scratch again....

One thing I am really interested in though is how it will deal with the toolset and custom mods? Will all the content that gets installed be available for use in the toolset to build mods? and will the custom stuff we're already using be affected in any way?

I only have DA:O, the toolset and a few custom mods for my PC version of the game --- so I am really looking forward to this, especially the DLCs and if that will then be available in the toolest for mod building would be a great bonus to mod builders...

Thanks,
M

Hello BioWare,

I need to complain that I am very disappointed with the latest information about the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins. It's very very unfair that you announced this edition just one mounth after the last DLC and one year after the world premiere of game! Are you kidding me?

Let me remind you the total cost of all Dragon Age parts that I've bought or downloaded:
1) Dragon Age: Origins - 45 Euro
2) Return to Ostagar: 400 MSP
3) The Darkspawn Chronicles: 400 MSP
4) The Stone Prisoner: 1200 MSP
5) Warden’s Keep: 560 MSP
6) Awakening: 3200 MSP
7) Leliana’s Song: 560 MSP
8) Golems of Amgarrak: 400 MSP
9) With Hunt: 560 MSP
Total count: 45 Euro + 7280 MSP

I am a big fan of your RPGs, I bought and totally completed (100%!): Dragon Age with all DLC's, Mass Effect I with all DLC's and Mass Effect 2 with all DLCs! All of these game I've bought in a day of premiere!

Now I know that it's enough to wait one year to buy the Ultimate Edition. Believe me that you've lost a loyal fan and customer. Your politic is the best reason why people all over the world prefer to be a pirate and download games or DLC's from p2p... It's not worth to be a legal.

And the worst thing is that this "countermeasure" only screw us, the original purchasers.

Pirates already got this DLC for free, so i don't think they even give a F*ck about this version, so countermeasure against who?

Meh, i won't be gettin this until i get my internet connection back i guess. <_<

I don't believe in pirating software as it hurts everyone, not just the software developers... if we want certain things to change we have to respect that and not encourage it... otherwise we will continue to have to do things like 'activate' software that we've already paid for... think about it, know what I mean..?

I've never been a fan of DRM. I think the people who are going to pirate things are going to pirate them regardless. When has anyone ever been dissuaded from piracy by DRM? In the end, you're only hassling the people who purchased the product legally. I think a simple disc-check is all that's warranted. Anything more, and you're just exacerbating the potential for legitimate consumers to run into software issues.
