I know this isn't Mass Effect news, but I'm betting there are a lot of Mass Effect players who love BioWare games, but haven't tried Dragon Age: Origins yet. If you haven't given Dragon Age: Origins a try, today is your lucky day as we have annoucned Dragon Age: origins Ultimate Edition! http://dragonage.bio...order-ultimate/

The Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition contains Dragon Age: origins, Awakening and all 7 DLCs all for only $59.99! Check with your local retailer or look for it digitally through the EA store. Dragon Age: Origins has won over 30 "Best of 2009" awards. If you haven't tried it yet, this is a great way to experience Dragon Age! :)

I bought DA a few months back. I'm not gonna do it again (for at least a year or two).

I bought DA and all the DLC this past August. Duh!

Great announcement nonetheless. Hope those who haven't played it get around to it with this new edition. The game is too good to pass up!

I just thought, wouldn't it be cool if ME 1 would also get an ultimate pack, one that has all the fixes for event/decision transfers to ME2?

Of course it would, but for some reason I don't see that happening at all. :?

As i say in the Dragon age forums, i haven't purchased Dragon Age so this is good for me, but feels like a theft for the ones who purchased all the DLC.

Yeah, i won't buy any bioware game or DLC until the ultimate edition comes out, i guess i'll rent the normal edition first, and then buy the complete edition.

DA introduced me to Bioware and encouraged me to play Mass Effect. I have most of the add-ons; and no, I do not feel like someone has stolen from me. I am happy to get the content ASAP.

Great... so I could have saved some cash... Well, I can always trade my copy in for this one, so I can get Awakening, Witch Hunt, Dark Spawn, and Golems of Amgarrak for cheap. That's $57.00 ($39.99, $7.00, $5, and $5 dollars) if I bought then seperate. Thus, I get them cheaper, by trading my copy for the $59.99 ultimate edition, and get a $20 discount.

Could someone refer me to a topic where this issue is discussed? Had no idea.

But on topic, these ultimate/goty editions make for awesome gifts. Would love to have one for ME2 once all the DLCs are released.

Everyone who hasn't bought and played DA:O yet, you should seriously consider buying the Ultimate Edition. It's a great game with a good story and great characters. :-)

Looks like I could've saved quite some money, had I waited this long, but I'm still happy with my CE and the rest.

I just hope the DLC/Awakening incompatibilities have been fixed in this one :?

I'd probably like to try a demo before I pay $60 for a game I haven't even tried playing before.

Got this from the ad on above link under key features:
"•A limited-time offer of the 2009 'RPG of the Year' Dragon Age: Origins, the Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening expansion pack, and all nine additional content packs."

Is this a misprint? it says all nine AC packs. I only see 7 DLC named. Is there 2 more something not named? Or is that 7DLC and 9 AC packs(like armor and stuff)?

I had a pre-order on this for a couple weeks now from my local Gamestop, but does this also include the Blood Dragon Armour?

Whoops. :pinched: That's a mistake on our part, but a good one. It IS actually 9 content packs, not 7. You also get the Feast Day Pranks and Feast Day gifts packs.

We're updating the page now to be correct for 9 DLC packs. :)
