Really funny as I got the PS3 version as a gift today, I knew that this was coming but I didn't said anything to them as they wanted to give me something.

Still nice it will come, will trade the old versions later in for this version, saves me money on buying dlc.

Drangon Age is Good. Definitely not amazing but good. Game just needed to be polished a lot more. So many issues with it I don't even know where to begin. Oh and it looked atrocious for a recent next gen game.

So they can laugh at us for paying premium price for both the ME2 and DA:O addons? Dunno. Guess they want to advertise it everywhere.

As i say in the Dragon age forums, i haven't purchased Dragon Age so this is good for me, but feels like a theft for the ones who purchased all the DLC.

Meh, not really.  Early adopters always pay more for everything -- consoles, movies on DVD, computer components, whatever -- not just games.  That's how it is.  We may have paid more for the DLC than the people who waited for Ultimate Edition, but in exchange we didn't have to sit and be patient ;)  To apply a simple principle of economics, immediate gratification has "utility".

This is actually a really good deal.

Albeit a slightly frustrating one. Had i not bought awakening i could have bought this instead and still come up on top. Not so much now though.

Read the first post and think harder before you post next time.

On the real news it's an awesome deal! a 30euro~ price cut from todays price for both games and all dlc.

I read it carefully and thought really hard about it and still came to the conclusion that it is not mass effect related...

Like the OP said, he figures there are a bunch of BioWare fans in general, learn to read I guess, and btw the OP is right, I dont check the DAO forums at all and now I know about it becous I check these forums........I swear, some peoples children.

Anyway, I bought the digital deluxe edition but no other DLC, when this comes to Steam at a reduced price I will pick this up as I will just feel like I am paying $60 for the expansion and if I get it now.

I haven't tried Mass Effect yet, but I would definitely buy the ultimate edition. If it's gonna be released that is.

Hmm..I might pick this one. I did not like DAO enough to pay 50 bucks for it though. With all the DLC and expansions it may be worth it.

In response to Dazastur Dragon Age in some areas actually was better than Mass Effect, mostly in relation to inter-party member dialogue and the fact you could actually talk to them outside of their designated ship camping spots. That said ME2 is better, but by a much narrower margin than you would expect.

Because they've replaced the darkspawn with geth.  A bit.

Kind of annoyed by this announcement, I haven't got four of the dlc's that I'm interested in, and I have already spent $90 something on the series, I might hold out and save up for this ultimate edition.

Does this mean ME2 is going to have an ultimate edition as well then, as it seems likely I will hold off on buying that then, I don't want to get ripped off twice, and buy most of the content for that as well.

I'm not upset about the fact that it came out, I'm upset I blew $70 when I didn't have to, and could have bought this edition of the game, and had some change spare. I won't be rushing out for DA2 when it's released if this is the new marketing strategy.

Wow...bet there are a lot of angry customers who bought the DLC on release date now.
