The title speaks for itself.
Does Wynne leave your party if you recruit her after defiling Andraste's ashes?

There are reports of a bug that say that if you don't go to camp at all between defiling the ashes and recruiting her, she has her hissy fit anyway after you go back to camp with her the first time. To be sure, defile 'em, go back to camp, THEN start Broken Circle.

The question is more like, WHY do you want to defile the Ashes?
If Leliana is unhardened, you already end up losing one companion.
If Wynne is recruited, you'll lose her too. No matter what you do.
You can prevent Wynne from leaving your party by doing the Sacred Ashes quest first, and the Broken Cirle quest afterwards. Though I have heard from some people that Wynne still might leave your party, even when you recruit her AFTER you defiled the Ashes...

I want to because it's more in-character, basically.

As long as you speak to Leliana in camp after defiling the ashes (and you can persuade her that the ashes are fine), Wynne will remain with the group.

Really?
I was planning to defile the ashes, but I'd like to NOT lose Leliana (Wynne may go away too but my PC is a mage so I could replace her as healer..or simply create one thousand healing potions
My PC is an Arcane Warrior, if it affects the answer.
How much Coercion do you need to convince Leliana that the Ashes are ok(when you talk to her in the camp)?
My Coercion is maxed, but I don't know whether it will be enough.
I could simply save before meeting the Cultist, but that wouldn't be much of roleplaying.

If you're doing it for character reasons, then shouldn't you just let the fallout happen and deal with it within your characterization? Circumventing it kind of sucks the drama out of the story.

Yeah,it's about character reasons.
I just fear that I won't be able to finish the game without both of them.

I don't know how much coercion you need, but LobselVith8 is wrong about Wynne. She will always leave if you have already recruited her and defile the Ashes. The only way to keep her is to defile the ashes first THEN recruit her - visiting camp in between to avoid the bug.
Leliana is more complicated.
If she is present when you defile the ashes, you can threaten her down with a high coercion skill. She must be hardened though.
If she is unhardened, then she will always leave if she is present when you defile them. You must go back to her in camp and lie to her with a high coercion score.

Mm, so first I need to harden her anyway,,
The Ashes will wait until then, then I guess I'll be able to either intimidate her or lie to her.
Considering my character, who pretends to be all good and shiny, I guess I'll take the lie route, she's too religious to know how resentful is my character against the Chantry and all that's Chantry related.
