Alright, so here's the scenario:  I have an exterior area with a fairly complex walkmesh (making use of the placeable walkmesh helper hak and walkmesh cutter triggers to make the impossible possible.  The placeables in the area, mostly buildings and walls, save for a few decorative bits here and there, cause major walkmesh-breaking issues when left in their default state, so I've made them all into environmental objects.  Walkmesh works beautifully.  The camera on the other hand...

I did anticipate this problem.  Just havent figured out a solution.  It's real easy for the player camera to go placed it shouldn't - inside buildings, little empty spaces between objects.  Without the geometry of the objects getting in the way, the camera can go anywhere.  But with the geometry, the area is practically unwalkable.

I'm pretty commited to keeping the area look and functio the way it does.  Does anyone know any tricks to controlling camera collisions so that it will treat the area around the environmental object as if it were a solid object?

Couldn't you make the walls back into placeables with the 'walkable' property checked?

Go to the vault and search for SGK73. He has donated collision helpers which sound like they could help you.
