I finished ME1 30+ times and ME2 like......20 times or more but I refuse to read the abridged material because it is not MY mass effect experience

both always with NG+ characters (always the same, my Vanguard Etrius Shepard).

have all the DLCs of both games.

my cellphone Background is Liara T'soni.

I did not play any other game since ME2 came out in February aside for Darksiders and I am not planning to play anything else until Arkham City or Bulletstorm or GoW3 next year (MAYBE the force unleashed 2 IF it turns out to be more than just average).

I always bring up Mass Effect during videogames discussions, I ALWAYS quote the ME serie as my favorite serie in the gaming world.

my MSN tag is a quote from Sovereign.

the Mass Effect social is the only Forum I frequent (I Quit Gamespot too).

Given the choice between ANY new sequel or Spin off pitted against a new sequel or spin off of Mass Effect I will ALWAYS pick Mass Effect even "closed box".

Mass Effect has rendered Halo nearly meaningless to me as a Sci Fi serie.

there is probably more but....

I once thought of myself as one that loved playing any game in general.

The mass effect series has almost completely destroyed my enjoyment of other games. I cant help but compare anything I play to mass effect (and the better game is always obvious).

I write for the school paper, and every month, I slip in a phrase or quote of some kind from the series into the article. One person caught it, a teacher. We high-fived :)

I've had the completely unopened (still in the shrink wrap) Assassin's Creed 2 forever (and I hear it's excellent), and I paid full price for Bioshock 2 (the day after it came out) and all I've done with that one is watched the opening cutscene.  I can't stop playing ME.  The second I finished my first PT of ME2, I turned right around, created a new character, and started over.  After that, I started a 6th PT of ME1 just for import.  I don't know where it will ever stop...

Mass effect is like my own personal brand of cocaine.

I've played through ME1 5 times and ME2 6 times and i'm fighting myself not to do another run.

Oh yes and the main reason I got a smartphone is to check on these boards constantly. Btw the intercept is one of the most balanced smartphone I've ever owned.

OMG.  I bought an LG Fathom so I wouldn't have to go to the beach for a week and miss these boards.  I thought it was just me...LOL

This game has completely taken over my life! So much so it's not even funny. I finally beat it today and I have to say it was the BEST ending of any game I have ever played. Even more so than ME1. Until now this game is like some people say my "crack". That couldn't be a better description!

I thought it did, but new content and-or-/ books will never come out at quick enough intervals to satisfy a continuing addiction.

So while ME has carved out a cute little nook in my sci fi realm, it is still behind other things in. Although when I first bet ME2 I was the epitome of a fanboy.

I end every conversation with I should go.

And I've started wondering just how hard it is to get a job as a writer at BioWare.

Taken over? no.

I've had some adult ME art/commissions done and lurked on these boards for years now waiting for the trilogy to end.

That's pretty much it.

The other day I was messing around in WoW and trade chat on my alliance started talking about movies.

I found a way to push the conversation to games and mostly Mass Effect.

Somehow I squeezed it in there while they were talking about Resident Evil.

Also while raiding with my guild on Vent I just out of nowhere started singing scientist salarian 2 other people joined me HA
