ME is a trilogy. I want to see the end of my (multiple) Shepard stories, and I want to see Kaidan and Ashley back! And hopefully Wrex and Garrus and Mordin and Legion and.....multiple characters. DA2 will pretty much have all new ones, I think, so I have no characters to look forward to.  So, in short, Mass Effect 3.

DA2.

Though hearing that Hawk has a dialog wheel and might be as limited in scope as shepard was has me slightly worried.

The two games will be so far apart in their creation, I don't think we have to be either too or less excited about either one. In the time that you will have finished DA 2 and then some is when ME3 will most likely appear so --- play both.

And... as they are non-bioware games... you still have Force Unleashed 2, Fable 3, Dead Space 2, Black Ops, fallout New Vegas ( Very soon)....and a slew of others

no contest - mass effect 3, and i can hardly wait. nothing against DA2 - hell i might even buy it just to support BW, but i'm not a "fantasy" guy - science fiction is where it's at for me.

ME3 continues on from where ME2 left off while DA2 is more like a new adventure so Mass Effect 3. And well, I am more of a Mass Effect fan.

Mass Effect 3 and it's not even close. I love DA but the sci-fi setting of ME appeals to me far more then the fantasy setting on DA

Mass Effect 3 as everything we have heard so far about Dragon Age 2 makes it sound like it's going to be poop.

DA2 is an independent story, a new adventure, new combat system.

ME3 is the end of the trilogy.

I have always prefer fantasy settings over sci-fi. I always prefer swords over guns... but

Tis a curious thing...

I somehow like ME better... I think the ME DVDs I bought shipped with reaper tech and I am indoctrinated... so if I had to choose - ME3 wins without contest.

Bring on the Reapers!!!

ME3 by a stretch.

I loved DAO but the DLC was a major let down. I have much more confidence in the ME team a the moment.

From what Ive heard of DA2 at the moment and combined with the very poor DLC the DA team churned out, Im in negative numbers on a hype scale of 1-10 about this game.

Ill be waiting for reviews of DA2 before buying while ME3 Id hand over the cash right now.

Gosh, which post should I quote. I think I'll settle on this one:

Mass Effect 3. It's sci-fi and I get a tad bored with fantasy stuff all of the time. Besides, I am anxious to see what's in store for Shepard.

Neither. Nothing is an instant buy for me. I need to be convinced to buy either one. So I will wait till I have more info.

Takes me a while to warm up to characters and ME1&2 already have a repertoire of characters I deeply care about. I'm actually very regretful that none of the companions in DAO will come back again when they were so well written. Besides, I'm one of those shallow shooter fans. I really disliked the combat system for DAO (and I will have to suffer through it on the PC version of DA2 again), so definitely ME3.

Due to the direction that they've taken with DA2s core mechanics, I doubt that i'll be getting it, so i'll have to say ME3.

Although if they do to ME3 what they did to ME2 then i'll pass on buying and just rent it.

Mass Effect 3, because I consider the Mass Effect series to be the best video games I have played to date. I am also very stoked about Fallout:New Vegas. The series is my #2.
