DA2, since that's actually coming out in the near future.

If they were both coming out in March, I would be ME3 all the way.

DA2 will probably serve me the same way DAO did - something Bioware created to simply pass the time until a new ME game.

The Old Repubic!!!! Wait wrong forum Image IPB. No its ME3 because no other franchise in gaming history is like it. 1,000 plot variables...I'm ready.

ME3...

I'm sad my Orleasian and Fereldan Warden are no longer stareing the main character role. I know why they did it but I'm still saddened. Most likely I wont get DA2 but I will get ME3.

I guess Bioware heard from many non-RPGs that there was too much reading. The sports fans I hang out with hated Dragon Age over Mass Effect and even than Mass Effect took time since reading is hard.

ME3, no question. ME2 is the greatest game of all time and the Mass Effect series is one of the, if not the, greatest video game sagas ever told. I can't wait to see how it all ends.

Mass Effect games are the best ones i ever played in those 20 years of gaming.....perfect story so far wich other games lacks of it.

Till today companies are focused on the grafics instead of the game story, a sample of that is Crysis and Far Cry 2

Well...these are the ME forums. That said, DA2 is coming out sooner and we have more information on it.

ME3 has the advantage of being able to actually wish specific things out of the plot and characters, though.

DA2. As much as I like the Mass Effect series, you'll have to realise that once you beat Mass Effect 3 then the entire trilogy is over. You've got nothing else to look up for, what's done is done. At least in DA2 we've got more hopes for the future.

+ Many other reasons but I don't want the Mass Effect fans to rip my face off.

Mass Effect 3 -- I'll be even more excited when an ultimate collector's edition is announced.

Will be very sad when the credits roll. I've grown attached to Shepard more than any other BioWare protagonist. But DA2 is 5 months away from release so I'm more focused on that. Moving away from The Wardens to a single character with a voice will make me care more about the story.

Dragon Age 2, merely because it will be released first.

Tough one.

I'd have to say ME3...but only because DA2 looks like it's going to be more like ME2. Does that make sense ?

Neither. Nothing is an instant buy for me. I need to be convinced to buy either one. So I will wait till I have more info.

Same.  I waited over 6 months to purchase both ME1 and 2.

Mass Effect 3. I'm not very fond of the "new features" of Dragon Age 2 while, on the other hand, as far as I know ME3 will be not that different from ME2 and this is a good thing in my opinion.

It looks like Mass Effect 3 is winning...I personally can't wait for both but if I had to pick the one I wanna play the most it would have to be Dragon Age 2. I loved the characters in that game especially Morrigan, and Leliana

I've never anticipated a video game in my life. But ever since i picked up ME1 and 2, my anticipation for ME3 is ridiculous. I'm constantly checking new sources to see if there's any info on ME3 daily, it's become an obsession. And i couldn't care less for DA2. I couldn't finish the first one because of the atrociously slow combat and storyline.

I'm more emotionally invested in the Mass Effect series. DA 2 will help keep me occupied till late 2011.

ME3 by far. I spent around 20 hours with DA:O but got increasingly bored along the way and finally just quit. Meanwhile I found ME2 amazing from start to finish (it's probably in my top 3 games of my ~25 years of gaming), and that mostly applied to ME1 as well, only spoiled by planet missions in the MAKO and the rather clunky combat mechanics.

I'm not really sure why I didn't care much for DA:O - in some ways it reminded me of old classics like the Infinity Engine games, but either I just don't care for a nostalgia trip back to the turn of the century, or the story and characters just weren't as interesting as in eg. the Baldur's Gate series or Planescape: Torment.
It's probably a mix of both issues.

I'm sure I'll still buy DA2 though, hoping it will have improved over the first one.

I loved DA:O, but since my Warden's no longer the main for DA2, I'm not that excited about the sequel.

So, at the moment, ME3. (or DA3 :P )

I like boths games equal really. But the story in mass effect 3 makes it the clear winner for which game im looking forward too the most. So engaging...how will it end. Dragon age is a great game but storys no where near as interesting.
