But thought i'd share this, it fits rather well into the whole orientation of the Mass Effect series. ( Especially with the point at which ME2 left off at. )
It's Power Metal, so if you don't follow that venue of music you may not enjoy it that much.
Lyrics:
A cryptic equation
Of a pulsating light
An unearthly riddle from beyond the starlit sky
Message of unknown design
Heavenly but non-divine
Sent by intelligent minds
An echo through space and time
Fractal figures
Deciphered lines
Stellar visit is nigh
See the fire in the cloudless night
Bright reflections of lights in my eyes
Now we will see, will our contact be
Salvation from afar
A guiding star
A cold observation
By systematical eyes
A delivered transfigure
A calculated demise
Contact with alien life
Heavenly but non-divine
Communication with cosmic minds
They travelled through space and time
See the fire in the cloudless night
Bright reflections of lights in my eyes
Now we will see, will our contact be
Salvation from afar
A guiding star
Complete fulfillment of ancient signs
A swift destruction by higher minds!
See the fire in the cloudless night
Bright reflections of lights in my eyes
Now we will see, will our contact be
Destruction from afar
One final war...
Not Quite a Fan Creation but worth sharing - music

While power metal is not my favorite style of music, I can see how you would choose a song like this as the lyrics do seem to describe the end of ME2. Not only that, this is a reflection of your own music tastes combined with ME2 so it's interesting to listen to the song and think of your perception of the end of ME2. It would have been cool if ME2 had an actual ending theme like the first game. A song like this would have worked lol.

I thought the beginning reflected the promise held in the original discovery of Prothean technology that led to humanity appearing on the Galactic scene, while the middle ramped up to the realization of whom the Collectors were, while the ending mirrored that last " OH CRAP!" image before ME2 faded to credits.
